@bobby0
Grass needs cut in a few areas, some teepads are getting overgrown, or are covered in sand.
@abbygreiner
Plenty of water which makes for a risky game of your not careful. Beautiful area. Seen a beaver busy working near the 4th tee and a goose sitting on her eggs after tee 8. ( Some baskets have geese droppings ) Bathroom at 1st tee and another further down the course.
@borser1
The park is beautiful and the course has some good shot variety and interesting holes. Tons of water in play but most can be avoided. However, I believe white tees should be listed moderate while green should be challenging. Tee boxes are not well kept, no signs at tees or maps just worn posts, poor wayfinding, have to use app to find some holes. Most holes run over and across walking paths and some next to picnic areas and playgrounds. If the park is busy I think it would be very difficult to play through. Really cool course design but doesn’t fit well in this park and is not being updated or kept up it seems
@mikeyfresh89
Fun and challenging course, but the upkeep is definitely lacking. You’ll need to use UDisc to find the tee boxes as several are tucked back into the woods and they only have painted 4x4s with laminated paper on them to mark the tees. Overall it’s definitely worth playing.
@jaimen726
Impossible without UDisc. Missing a lot of tee signs and no directions to next tee. Obviously a ton of water so bring floaters or retrieval equipment. Also be wary of playing on a nice weekend, play through a lot of open park areas- lots of people out today.
@vtoutdoorsman
Bring your floating discs. Lots of water. Poor signage, using the UDisc map is a must for first timers. Dark deep water makes disc retrieval almost impossible.
@pointer4
A fun and beautiful course. Set around 2 small lakes it was a lot of fun to play. If you are a RHBH thrower, this will be a challenge for you. Most of the holes around the lakes favor a LHBH or a RHFH shot. But the tunnel shot on 6 and the island 17th are a blast to throw. If in the area, it is worth playing. I drove up from the Florence SC area to try a new course and was not disappointed.
@golf4collet
I agree with the guy who said he's glad he ignored the other reviews. This course is incredible!! Just keep it away from the water and you should be fine.
@glenndell
Bring disc that you don't care about, lots of water carry.
@latitude64fan
If I was to ever open a disc golf store, it would be located outside of Britt Park in Lumberton, NC. Why there? Because everyone playing on this course can expect to lose discs. If it’s not the chains located on the peninsulas of the lake, or the drives launching over the lake, it’s the swampy canals that buffer the fairways. To successfully navigate this course, you will need an experienced guide to locate the tees. You will also need to hire a sherpa that will be willing to wade into swamps and a murky lake to recover your discs.
@maze399
No signage. Confusing to find holes without app. Too many similar holes next to water.
@jdlturtles803
Very little tee upkeep. Worse signage seen. Want to spend more time looking for your tee than playing, come here. Many of the holes are over walkways and had to wait for pedestrians. The course itself looks amazing and has a great view.
@deathtotree
Course upkeep is lacking along with signage. The shots are very repetitivewith 8 rhn turnover or forehands in a row.
@beavertail33
Too close to walk paths and playgrounds with lots of kids around.
@kwiksilver91
Easy but buggy and water hazards
@truettc
Need to clear tee pad on 8 and a new basket on a few.
