A group of three of us played today and it was a fun experience. This course is clearly relatively new and what I would describe as character courses. It is low key and set in a farming environment where there is limited upkeep but clear fairways and the holes are spray painted sticks in the ground rather than baskets. There are a couple of clear opportunities to enhance the course with some mando’s to increase the difficulty but I liked the use of naturally occurring obstacles with the river and blackberry bushes. There is a need for a bit more maintenance with the grass being really long and at one point what appeared to be a large rubbish pile with hundreds of paper plates composting (it looks like a lot of discs lol). The actual course map isn’t loaded into the app and this would really assist just in a couple of instances where the tee box wasn’t clear, but in general easy to identify the next hole etc. If you use a run up in your tee shot you will need to watch out on a few tee boxes as while carpeted they are pretty uneven. Overall, enjoyed the 18 course and loved supporting local and purchasing some local meat and eggs and getting the round for free.

I think there is the basis of a cool course here. No map hurts it, and lacking details on where the holes/tee are also hurts. The grass was long so as beginners we spent a long time looking for discs.
