Marian University's Disc Golf Course

The Marian University Disc Golf Course is a 9-hole course designed to integrate with the natural landscape and open green spaces of campus. The layout features a mix of short technical holes and longer open fairways, challenging players to balance accuracy with distance while navigating trees, buildings, and natural terrain. The course begins on the west side of campus and gradually works eastward across several open fields and wooded corridors before looping back toward the central campus area. Players will encounter a variety of shot shapes including gentle hyzers, straight fairway drives, and controlled placement shots, making the course approachable for beginners while still engaging for experienced players. Several holes incorporate natural obstacles, tree lines, and elevation changes, encouraging thoughtful shot selection and course management. The layout also makes use of the campus creek and surrounding vegetation as visual and strategic features while maintaining safe distances from buildings and walkways. This course was designed to provide a fun, accessible recreational activity for students, staff, and visitors, while respecting the shared campus environment.
