@augithewolf
I try not to go too hard on courses but this one was poor. Poles in the ground to mark tee points but no tee pads or even worn patches to show where a teepad would be. No indication which basket to go to and given most shots were in wide open fields full of tall grass it was a guess if you were throwing at the right basket. Shots were repetitive.
@paynelive
Not a bad tuneup course for open distance work. Open use area field on small town park boundary. Nice disccatcher baskets. However, there are no tee pads, which makes getting releases off awkward with tall grass, uneven terrain, and course conditions. Some holes also make out to be par 4s almost with these factors and 400-500 ft distances. It's nice for a quiet practice day, but the more upkeep, the more the players will come
@bckcntryskr
You will need great eyes and perseverance to play this course. Hole 8 is epic. Hole 9 should probably be par 4.
@alexhallumsdisc
Lots of potential here. Nice baskets. Unfortunately the course looks extremely neglected. Grass over 1ft high on a large majority of the holes. No designated tee pads. Hard to navigate without UDisc. Not a great experience. City needs to put some effort into taking care of this course. With proper tee pads & tee signs, & some clean up around the course, this could be a 4 star course or better. As it is right now, I’d go play somewhere else. Could be nicer in the winter months when stuff is not overgrown.
@miteredporygon
No tee pads and not upkept . The Wetland bird variety was good
@steveduvall
Forget that it’s a hyzer fest, can we talk about why you gotta cross the bog of eternity stench so many times with little to no way across? Made it 3 holes and said, that’s enough. Not for me .
@numbfingers
No tea pads, poor signage, but fun shots. Two technical throws, four bomber shots, and three easier sub 300 shots. I think the course is underrated.
@codyhumphrey22
No maintenance at all course is almost unplayable. I stopped after 3 holes.
@cmbonsai
Needs a lot of work. I’m fine with dirt tee-pads, I see some complaints. The issue is the lack of effort to define some fairways. It is super overgrown. Grass is mowed to connect fairways BETWEEN holes. Some holes feel like it’s an instant search and rescue in the chest high grass. If there was a 6’ wide path from hole to basket, then this review would be a 4.5 star (-0.5 for the hordes of biting flies)
@adgano08
Horrible grass. No fairways. No tee boxes. Mosquitos like crazy.
@nateyo10
Absolute crusher of a course. Be prepared the throw intense long drives in an open field. 530ft par 3 seems a little steep as well
@flindor12
Fun course! Pretty much an open course except for a few holes but some holes require some distance.
@poooop
They redesigned it since some of the comments here (I think). For example, someone mentioned a basket was missing but all were there when I visited. Also some folks mentioned doing a tee off the top of a hill for a certain hole, but that was no longer the case with the redesign. I also felt like the tee posts were easy to find. There are areas of natural plant restoration that are super tall. Lost a disc in there. The mowed fairways in other areas are kinda narrow. Not much tree shade.
@colereamey
No teepads
@crduke
Needs better signage, tee pads/areas, and mowing. Even with UDisc, it’s tough to navigate this course. The course feels neglected…like a ghost town. Hole 8 is cool, though
@pitty502
Rough course to navigate even with Udisc.
@isaiahisz
Not a bad course. Dirt trees, hole 3 is missing basket, and hole 8 tee is on top of hill. Some water, fence, and tree obstacles
