About the course

Located in the heart of Charlottesville. There are 2 pads and 2 baskets on each of the 9 holes. The course was first constructed in 2015 and continues to undergo improvements by the local Blue Ridge Disc Golf Club. Wooded and technical, offering a challenge to experienced players on the longer layouts, but still appropriate for beginners of all types.

There are two separate water crossings between holes 4 to 5 and holes 8 to 9 which don't have bridges/paths. Holes 1, 2, 3, 4 and 9 are playable without having to cross the stream.

I like the short-long, long-short, short-short, long-long layouts Several holes, especially early on, have no clear lines so you’re basing a lot on luck. It’s be nice to have some thoughtfulness there, maybe clear a few smaller trees here or there. We played while it was dry. It could see it getting soggy.

This is fun little course with good replay value from multiple tees/pins. I will say that some of the lines to the Long basket aren’t very clear and left me confused on what the play is off the tee. A little additional cleaning of the course would help that issue. I enjoyed how often the creek comes into play as an obstacle. The course is well designed around this feature. Hole 5 is iconic! Definitely the signature hole in my opinion.
