@udiscbanor
Helt okej. Dåliga Tee. Endast utkastplatser på gräs med pelare. Helt okej korgar. Gamla men funkar. 9st korgar och 18st utkast. Mycket folk i parken. Svårt och hitta runt till nästa hål. (2.3/5.0)
@cklellie
Bit repetitive hole design going to the same baskets multiple times. Otherwise good a challenging course.
@dillonvanway
Fun to play, a bit hard to navigate. I only had a mid and putter with me, so the long distance drives hurt me a bit.
@fergus
Great course with lots of shot variety. Very useful instructions for each hole. Loved it.
@roytfox
Nice free to park & play course in a public park. Good variety of shots. No teepads but ground is pretty flat, I can see nettles being an issue in summer, but hey it's free! ♥️ I look forward to coming back to play all the layouts
@aaronreese
Simple beginner course
@domwestwell
nice little local course, in a public park so lots of waiting and spotting needed. some fun moments, but feels repetitive, with lots of similar holes, you cross over your own tracks a lot, would love to see more variety on the blues here. no tee pads, just post to mark, some unpleasant footing so you can’t brace, e.g. large root or uneven surface - which makes long distance par threes very hard! glad this course exists as a gateway to disc golf for its surrounding area, and worth a visit if you’re passing by.
@shanerobison123
Just needs some local love and some genuine interest in making it a great experience for beginners. I introduced three people to disc golf while I was there. Someone here should run clinics for locals and create signage to help people learn the sport.
@jgod22
Tricky and long holes make it very challenging
@roknudsen
Pros - Challenging blue course, good use of park space, good mix of throws, long, short, open, wooded. Have big open space for practicing drives. Cons - lots of dog walkers (including dog poo), some wooded holes without real fairways, basket for hole 10 set in the jungle (bring machete)🤪. Overall - great fun!
@kingruss
Good use of the area with limited baskets. Some good shot variations with the scary 18!!!
@ellisj98
The course re-uses 9 baskets across 18 holes. Many shots in the woods, tight spaces, rewarding smart golf and accuracy. Free to play. Tee pads are worn out and sometimes not visible. Mandatories are sometimes tricky to navigate, ask someone on the course if possible. Be aware of the dog poo across course from park residents. Some shots are very difficult for the par rating on the advanced course. I would consider many holes par 4 rather than par 3.
@naterath
Fun course, watch out for the dog poop
@ryan123456
Fantastic local course for me. I love that it’s free to play and there is often friendly people happy for you to join
@bak662
Nice design over the space and with woods - very fun. Park is a bit smelly due to dog owners not cleaning up!
@harrymessenger
Fun course with some great holes, but not playable solo or when the park is busy as holes cross and fairways get busy with walkers
@seeyoulater
Overgrown in places with nettles etc. Still plays well but need to keep an eye on where discs land on some holes
@grimseymag420
Think I just got my wife stung by about 46 nettles on the last basket, sorry 😳
@moleman2oo1
Mereside is the closest 18 hole course to where I live and I really like it. There is a 9 hole and an 18 hole course to play. The 18 is challenging but fun. The 9 is designed with beginners in mind but is still good for experienced players too. There's a bit of everything here. Wooded holes to dent your discs. The mere to gobble them if you get your throw wrong. Short aceable holes and one VERY long one. And all for free! Definitely worth a visit. It is a public space so extra care is needed!
@jillian
Definitely not playable solo, lots of blind shots, but alot of fun to play with a group. Not a huge fan of some of the wooded holes, no defined lines, but some great long par 3s. The red layout is the real highlight of this park! Good holes and playable solo in 20 minutes. The course has developed nicely over the span of time I've visited, and as they add signage I'm sure it will transform into a real gem.
