@bobcole
No lines on most holes
@jaredgolf
Some clearing of trees would really help. But awesome for working on accuracy.
@philippealain
Many holes have impossible lines to hit, left to right to left to 45 deg right, on 6-8 feet wide fairways. Good looking and nice place to walk, but won’t return.
@fitwepps
Beautiful surroundings. Not a serious course but suitable for those who’ve never played before. Nearly all par 3 but rarely can the basket be seen from the tee off. Very, very narrow.
@jackleber
Course is full of sharp turns and trees in the middle of the fairways. Don't plan a trip here unless you were already camping here anyway.
@trmn8dmntn
Challenging but fun course. Mostly comprised of tight walking trail turned into fairways with many trees to miss. Anything off the tight line is at the mercy of the trees. Shots off the fairway are usually VERY punishing. Great place to hone accuracy, learn smart decision making, and try skip shots on the pine straw floor. Your favourite overstable fairway driver, mid, and putter will be all you need.
@bcnorval
Lines are too tight, even for a pro. There is too little variety in the course
@chedduh
This is probably the worst course I’ve played. My wife and I just threw discs at trees for 2 hours. The lines are stupid tight and a lot of the holes are just a wall of trees in front of you. For a short 18-hole I never even had a putt inside C1. Only redeeming qualities are the baskets and nets are amazing and the trails are very well maintained. I wish I played the aceplace, it looked like a lot more fun
@kevinfarley
This course is very tight and very technical, and while it is still worth playing, unfortunately the design was restricted by the provincial Park and its environmental limitations. Hopefully as more players play it, and provide feedback to the park, they will allow the designer to update the course. It has wonderful potential, particularly because it is situated inside a Provincial park with ample camping opportunities!
@jasonau
Tight technical course next to the camp site. Bonus points for the mini 9 warm up putter holes. Middle of summer was a bit overgrown and difficult to see the intended lines.
@johndouma
lots of tight fairways with harse turns at 200 ft. bring a putter and an overstable driver and that's all you need for every hole. good to practice straight shots.
@rejection705
There two courses. A short 9 hole course which is fun if you have little kids or just want to have ace runs. And a full 18 course which is difficult due to being tight, but still enjoyable.
@andymcchains
Lots of potential and beautiful land……..but a day with a chainsaw would make these short par 3’s all getable. Fairways that are 60’/70’ before the dogleg still leave 150’/200’ to to basket, not to mention most holes dogleg twice. So no matter if your amateur or pro, most of those holes can’t be reached purely off the tee. When I did birdie it was usually a lucky line.
@riosewell
Decent course but pretty repetitive layout, lots of dogleg left holes at 200-250 feet.
@tomtanner
Well kept fairways. A very technical course needing very accurate shots with tight doglegs to baskets.
@shepp11
Be prepared to shoot down the barrel every time! Lol
@johnnybeegood
Great tight woods track
@liamarch
Hands down this was one of the best courses we’ve played. It had it all. Challenging and technical holes through a well maintain trail system. Signs (with image and description) and tee pads on each hole, plus arrows guiding you to the next tee pad. You check in at the Mekisew provincial park building so you can make a day of it! Inside you can also buy discs, get a scorecard and map, and get info about the park as well. Either walk there, or pay for a parking permit. Amazing experience overall!
@lanecharlton
Well marked, all new, nice pads, quiet forest course. Fun! Hot afternoon with relatively no bugs 👍.
