So fun. Really good shot shapes. Great course for all skill levels. I hope they make it permanent.
@azncontagion
Open. Very much a temp practice course. A lot of people having picnics around the baskets and overall just being in the way because it’s a mixed use park. Doesn’t seem to be much thought put into the layout … then again, how else would you do it here?
@madmanotl
Good short seasonal course in an area that doesn't have much else around it. In spite of the grass tees, worth stopping by if on the area.
@hankbrew
This is a great beginner course and a fantastic addition to Miller Meadows I have been to the area many times and have never been to the park but this course addition made stopping there and checking it out worth it! I think it’s not a challenging course but the longs provide some great throws for beginners and intermediate! Good use of the space
@adibos
Solid temp course, can be more challenging than it looks on paper because of the winds.
@dylanss
I see other people saying that this should become a permanent course. I think it wouldn't be bad to have a course here, but the layout should change. Also, the busy road is right next to this course which makes it questionable when considering the layout be permanent. Definitely other quieter spots that don't have courses. Overall, not a bad flat course, but the current 4.1 star rating on UDisc is just ludicrous. There are no tee-pads, signage is surprisingly good (considering it's a temp course), and baskets are pretty bad. Maybe if this was a permanent course with two sets of tee-pads, nice baskets, and a good layout, the course might be a 3.8. Even then, its just a short nine-holler in a flat, relatively open park.
@micahewett
They made some good changes to the pin locations this year. The shorts tees are all beginner friendly now. Would love to see some new long positions that aren't just 30' behind the shorts.
@jish98
Great park style course. Love the work with the forest preserve. Would love to see this become a real course. Chicago deserves it!
@jonathanseff
I hope this course stays its an excellent 9 hole. Good use of the trees. Love 7 and 8 never get to see to many actual par 4s on a 9 hole. 6 the parking lot behind my present a problem to those with less control on their power.
@erehwon67
Thos could be decent. It is a problem tonhave to okay around family picnics. Thisnis a temp course so no pads. Hopefully they improve and expand to 18 plus make it easier to avoid families.
@donbronson
What will it take to make this permanent? As a city dweller, this location is unbeatable in proximity to the city. Beautiful park style layout with room for so much potential.
@willryan042
Surprisingly fun course given at first glance it looks like a wide open field. Some challenging lines, and love that there are short and long tees. Would love this as a permanent course!
@timb221
Not fun.
@devinh1122
Love this temp course. It really is great for beginners and intermediate players and has a fun shot variety.
@insatiabletom
Flat park style course with good use of trees for shot shapes and low ceilings. Play both the shorts and longs for a bigger challenge.
@lolbass3
So excited about this course, I hope it becomes permanent! I would play 3-4 times a week given how close it is to my house!
@suvwah
Would love to see this become permanent. Fun layout with options for short and long tees. Nice variety of shots as well
@gutierreza93
Great course! Would love for it to become a permanent track!
