Weeds and stickers galore. Some tee signs are hand drawn. Tee pads are a little awkward
@dragooon
If a local club isn’t willing to help mow / weedwack fairways this place will never go anywhere. So much potential throw away by lack of fairway maintenance. Hope this place can find a way to get the love it deserves.
@yuripenermon
To be fair I only played 8 holes of this course. Grass was too high, some areas 2 feet high, to really enjoy the course. Spent a lot of time looking for discs and trying to be cautious and aware of accidentally running into any rattlesnakes. So I decided to call it quits after a few holes. However the few holes I did play were not bad. Some open shots both short and long and a few technical shots with some tricky guardian trees to get by. Needs updated tee signs on several tee areas. Will play it again once the grass much lower.
@lonhart
Interesting mix of shots, UDisc was not plotting where I should go, so, instead, I followed the large, homemade next tee signs, which were tacked onto trees, close to the basket you just finished on. Most of the time it was fairly straightforward to figure out.
@drewdk
It was a lot more than I expected, good surprise. After your first few holes, that feels like a meadow in Ohio, it turns nice and hilly, with great wooded area. Technical in areas. Fun course.
@justinherrle
Lots of elevation changes and shot shaping to deal with, low ceilings tight lines make a fun course. BUT it needs some love, tee pads are garbage and the stickers are out of control.
@bcolacchia
Overgrown. Nice wildflowers and big grade.
@fuseek
So much potential...
@jdsfree
Really fun course, yes, there is poison oak. Definitely needs signs , arrows at each basket, pointing to the next hole, and then actual footage. Hole #5 tee pad is down and around the bend to the right in the back corner
@joseph209
Course cleaned up some easy to follow signs to next tee pads
@unclelogie
You can tell that a lot of work has been done recently. 3 new par 4’s. Still more to do, but fun and challenging. You need all the shots.
@bud8986
Great wooded, mountain 18 hole course!
@davyyjones
Super overgrown and unmaintained. Thistle and long grass will destroy clothes, should just avoid it in my opinion.
@wkukis9
Had to skip hole 10 because it was too overgrown. But everything else was alright. It'd be an amazing course if the upkeep was better. But I'm sure it's hard to get out here to do all that. Holes 11-18 in the woods were a lot of fun. Hole 5 is a par 4 now, 550 feet. Glad I played, don't know if I'll come back.
@discfisher
Nice mix of open and tight fairways, lots of elevation changes. Biggest oak tree around hole 7 I think. Bit overgrown at times and lots of mountain misery.
@jacksonjunglist
The course is on the side of a mountain, so be prepared for roll-aways.
@bwylie254
Challenging course with lots of trees.
@bugman4
Park is in terrible shape. It needs a lot of pruning, weedeating and general maintenance. Go prepared to lose a disc or two. The county doesnt seem to want to take care of the park whatsoever, even through there is a park maintenance person on site at all times.
