Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re just dying for golf or very new to the sport. Short ace runs are kinda run but there’s too many. Long holes are just fillers and over and around fields. Not very creative. I won’t be back.
@jdshell
Short fun course with almost no obstacles resulting in ace-runs on 8 of 9 holes. Was unable to play some holes because of a baseball tournament so kinda disappointed. Went on a random Thursday morning and drove 40 minutes to play. Played front 9 with no issue. Oh well, win some and lose some.
@lucasthegreat
Decently fun beginner course. Most of the longer holes don’t make much sense shape wise unless played as a par 4
@danemo
You can only play this course on a weekday during work and school hours when it is not summer months. People everywhere. A waste of money by the city of Destin putting a course in here.
@thesniper21
Has baskets and tee pads, so thats something. Too busy of a park to even consider jamming 18 holes into like this.
@bart250
Would be a fun little pitch and putt but too intertwined with ball fields and running trail and park benches. If you really want to play it go early in the morning for less traffic.
@thomas98721
If anyone else is using the park, you can't play it. I really don't see how it's safe when you are playing through all the ball fields and everything else on the property.
@joe104887
Should not be a course with how close it is playing through other park amenities.
@aggiejonathan
Poor location decisions, In the middle of baseballs fields. Unplayable during games. Not a lot of variety.
@nreynolds7
If you’re just looking to throw some fun/short semi challenging shots this is a great course. If able to I would recommend just skipping the first four holes and starting on 5. The open holes, while all over/in the way of the entire complex are very fun.
@slaughtv
Interesting shot variety, easy to navigate with UDisc. Scoreable but has its challenges.
@jorfdg11
Crazy...
@brichanimations
Illinois resident here! Really interesting course - some of the holes (like 16) are questionable. How often do you get to play a “beach” course though
@benny08302
play during off hours, lots of weird shots between the ball fields on the back
@psyduck77
Multiple holes playing through baseball stands. Multiple holes with 3ft wide fairways with fences on either side. Front 9 is pitch and putt. Back 9 is long and unforgiving. I don’t know who they are appealing to with the layout. Not beginner or advanced friendly.
@knoxiclean
Baseball had everything closed, could only play the first few
@ncatron406
CALL AHEAD. Ask if there are any sort of sports tournaments or anything going on. Otherwise you won’t be able to play many of the holes. The course layout is fine, EXCEPT for the fields being everywhere. Many holes play directly between two fields or fences. Beware throwing into fields, because as I found out, “if they’re locked they’re locked.” You can ask someone to open them, IF anyone is even working there. That’s the reasoning behind not giving a full four stars. EDIT: after playing a second time a year later, same applies, fences were open.
