That other guy in the comments who left a half star review must not know how to play disc golf, if this is the worse course in Oregon. Great layout, very challenging and not for beginners.
@matycakes
Very boring for a "mountain" course. You could make a great course on this property but the actual course here mostly just plays through chainsaw cut out dirt roads/trails. No significant shot shaping or fun/interesting tee shots. It's like a boring ball golf course but with dirt/rocks on the fairways instead of grass.
@ricoguave
So much potential! Tee pads could use some work, but so much fin! So pretty!!!
@kmmcfarland1
Hole 16 needs updating from the UDisc layout. Some tough wayfinding for first time players. Pretty buggy in the summer. But a fun time if you prepare, imagine it’s more fun a second play through.
@sagecatta
Fun course, better than last yr layout, but still a miss for a destination/amazing potential. Holes 14 and 15 are awesome, and over all it’s still fun but it just seems like it could be amazing and isn’t quite there. BOB course last yr still was better.
@tyasvaults1
BRING BUG SPRAY, IT IS INFESTED!!!
@baggie
Fun course with beautiful views
@iscaspar
We found it! The worst course in all of Oregon!
@foxflightclub
Played the tournament layout, challenging course in the woods along the cross country course. Personally I miss some of the holes from last year but still a fun high altitude course with some nice peakaboo views of the mountains.
@bogeyjoey
Good mountain course. Permanent tees would be nice (tee pads are rubber mats that are not flat). Lots of hole distances are way off.
@majormajorx2
Lots of long forhand holes that blend together.
@tossinmaine
Beautiful. Hit the fairways Edit - what happened to the tournament layout?? That was way better.
@discodaze
Cheers to the crew that reimagined what the Nordic course could be. Much more creative and scenic than the previous layout. From a scoring perspective, I’d definitely recommend discing down a few notches to something shorter but straighter. Don’t let the distance tempt you to throw your highest speed discs unless you’re confident you can land them on the narrow ski run that counts as a fairway. It’s brutal off piste.
@bighops
Love the variety, definitely a tough course! A lot of blind holes from the tee, but loved the amount of par 4s and 5s. Stay on that fairway!
@rcmaloney864
So much better than the Alpine course in my opinion. Actually playable while still having some great views. Long course over all and will definitely want to have the map. Otherwise look for orange flags on the ground to follow. Will definitely be back
@dgarrott69
This course is brutally difficult but very well designed and stunningly beautiful. Flags are up between some of the trickier holes to find. This layout is much better than the previous Nordic course and much less punishing than the Alpine course.
@drestheace
Course is in Battle @ Bachelor layout (tournament Aug 10-11 — find it on DiscGolfScene.com). Much higher difficulty than standard layout. Beautiful, challenging mountain golf!
