I played here two years ago and am hoping to make my way back here again next week if it’s still open to play? The drive here from Huntington Beach was incredible. The mountains, the views, it was just awesome. There really aren’t many people out this way. It’s very remote. I hiked up the wrong trail to get to the course I was told on Facebook after I played. I parked at the ski left and hiked up. It will get you there, but you might wonder if you can actually make it there going that way. It’s super steep up that path to the left and then just keep going forever. I hear the other way is an easier hike but still long. I’m almost 50 now and it was tough to do. But I’m determined to do it again. Good place to go if I can’t make it. Course was a blast. It’s weird once you get up there. Is any one there? Maybe? Probably not? How do I drive up here? Take a rest because it’s gonna be a long round. Some baskets were missing or the layout listed just wasn’t totally accurate. Oh well. There were still plenty of great shots. Some absolutely exceptional views also. This truly could be one of the best courses in the world with a few people who actually have the time to do the work. Print a map if there is one. Take an atlas if you still own one of those. If you like an adventure and are in shape enough to hike like 7-10 miles at some decent elevation, go for it. You’ll probably love it.

Without any signage it was impossible to know where the holes were, cell reception was sketchy so udisc didn't help much. We threw blind and had to correct once we figured out where the basket was. Don't play if there is a chance that there is snow on the ground, which there currently is. It's impossible. Would like to play it when the ground is clear but unfortunately I was in town now. The hike up was tough with snow on the path, over an hour going up.
