"Championship caliber course will test your skills…and endurance. Silver and Gold layouts differ by 3000’, but Gold adds 9 strokes to par. So an intermediate player really can shoot about as well against par on either. Maybe not as flashy as new ones like the Green Monster, but Muddy was good enough to host Am Worlds. It remains a destination course, it should be on your bucket list. Lots of flat rolling, but the steep hills are not cart-friendly"

"Long course that’s got a lot of open shots with a sprinkling of wooded holes. Some holes were really good and others felt like there could be some improvements. The maps on the tee signs only being lines through aerial images was not helpful, although the distances to various landing zones was unique. "

"Open holes are 5 star. Wooded holes are virtually impossible to do well on unless you are at pro level. And know exactly where the basket is. In the fall expect to spend most of your round searching for the disc. Way too many wooded holes as well. First time and last time playing. "

"No “bad” holes, everything was interesting and fun. Pars are about half of the holes are a bit soft, but not so soft that the holes are easy. Property is really well upkept, mach5 baskets are great IMO, and there are quite a few pretty views off of some of the teepads. "

Some areas are thorn dungeons in the deep rough but otherwise course is very well-maintained. The park is absolutely beautiful and a must play. Can’t stop thinking about my round there today and I will definitely be back for more! If you’re not a newer player then go for the gold tees; they’re worth the challenge and make many of the holes much more fun. "
