@jjrenihan
Solid course. A few holes are fluky, but nothing too terrible. Would be a 4 star course if the course navigated easier. There are a lot of long walks between holes and it doesn’t flow very well even though the tee to basket sections are quite nice. Some signs/Udisc holes were pretty far off, too.
@scooner84
Such a beautiful course all the way through. It whooped me thoroughly playing the blacks but it was so much fun.
@shsrhiannon
SNAKES galore. Super long walk and you better love some scary wild life. I am not sure why this is a 4.2
@wyland25
Overall great course.little challenging in the woods .great scenery
@rmilanec
Great course
@nfoxworthy
Excellent course. Black Tees are very difficult. Really well designed and long. Worth a trip!
@blake812
A lot of limbs and trees down
@dgettinger
Great course. Good mix of park style holes to begin and finish and combined with some long woods holes in the middle section. There are a lot of fun tee shots and a beautiful setting playing around a large lake. Course signage could be improved, but if you are using u-disc it’s not too difficult to navigate. Other than that, time and play will improve the underbrush as it is still a very new course. One of the best courses I’ve played in Indiana. Bring good bug spray and check for ticks.
@maxhochstetler
Black Tee’s are a beast, but a lot of really great throws. Long course, but I am not convinced it is a big arms course. You have to hit lines. Having a lot of distance can help on 17 and 18 otherwise it can hurt as much as help. Worth going out of your way to play. My only negative is it is a bit hard to navigate pay close attention to tee signs and U disk to make sure you are playing the right basket and tee.
@gkd2323
Great course, very fun to play, BUT there are campers in some fairways on busy weekends
@mortimer66
They are doing a lot of work to install new baskets and t-pads for a more beginner/ intermediate experience. Course is always fun.
@thebeege
Fantastic course! Played during the SDO. If anyone wants to make $50(Venmo) I have an important ace disc in the lake on Hole 10b from that tournament, specific layout. Please and thank you! -Brady Pierce
@tsizzle2233
Course has 2 baskets and tee pads for almost every hole. There are 3 different levels of difficulty, white, blue and black. White is supposed to be the easiest, but nothing is easy on this course. Tight lines and OB for the majority of the course. Course is very challenging for any skill level.
@jojitattoos
Great course. Nice distance lines. Few tricky wood weaving lines. Nice views.
@samross37
Scorchie Come Back to Meee. Saint-Maximin
@magikarp45
Back 9 needs clean up bad, lots of ticks. Front 9 is more of a park course. Good tee pads
@ryanmessenger
The front 9 is great. The back 9 needs a lot of love: A lot of holes don't have a well defined line. Seems like the storm affected the back 9 a lot. Lots of fallen branches in all fairways and quite a few fallen trees. 2 ft high undergrowth everywhere. The path from 12 to 13 is completely blocked by a fallen tree
@marcobutturi
New course is awesome, challenging, and just needs more traffic. Get out and play it
@amaltstadt
One of the most challenging courses in the state. There aren’t many courses where you throw distance drivers in the woods but New Lake (Blacks) is one of those courses. This is a hidden gem of a course. If you want fun, play the Blues. If you want a challenge, play the Blacks. If you want to feel good about your shooting, play the Friendly Par layouts. Whites aren’t as easy as you’d assume, but every layout has some great lines.
@creativ
Each hole is: enjoyable and tough.. Some shots feel like it comes down to luck unfortunately but thats only 1 or 2 at this point. The layout is a little weird but the hole design makes it worthwhile. I recommend playing in early spring and fall when bugs are less prevalent
