Prob should have given it a 5*, it's pretty nice. Gold carts was fun, course is gorgeous , it's not alot to say bad about the place
@bigwook
Totally awesome course. Probably a one-of-kind. Scenery is off the charts. Fairly challenging without beating you up too bad. You need big power to make it over the water carries from the lungs. A must play in my opinion. The pro shop is closed and there is no more golf cart rentals. Also public land now so no more pay to play.
@hollerc78
The course is open, but needs more signs. I got lost multiple times.
@mbroyles
Top 10 course in my memory. Man in the pro shop said it is set to close as of this weekend. Property is being turned over to city with plans to permanently close the golf course, pro shop, and green course. Man in pro shop said it will be closed as of the 1st of April. Other courses TBD. What was once a host to the world championships will be abandoned. Sad to see such a great course disappear.

A very challenging first hole with OB and mando. The option to play it safe or go for it with a risk. A great variety of shot selection with some wooded, water, island as well as open holes. The fairway is large enough to feel fair but when you are in the rough you will find nothing but a hard time. The course has the most scenic views on the back 9 I've seen in person while playing disc golf with some fun mandos that don't feel forced or too challenging. Many holes have multiple ways to attack it, and you can be punished if you want to play aggressive and fail but rewarded for those big arm players with accuracy being a bonus. A course I wish I was able to play again with some knowledge of it. Would recommend for anyone close in the area to give this course a try and make a day out of it to try out the other courses at New World. Bonus: There is a local cat that likes to hang out in the parking lot that is friendly and adorable. Also, sad that the Pro Shop is starting to clear out.
@caleeb
Wonderful, unique course. Kept surprising me over and over.
@craiggg99
Challenging, diverse course with lots of water. There is a Disc Golf shop and 4 different courses so plenty of variety
@bonice
I travel from Peru, IN. to there at least once a year to play the green course. The whole disc golf course there is amazing. But this year the course was let go on the green course. It was not marked as well as it has been in the past. the dunes part of it was bad. Whoever lives in the back part in the old store almost ran me over. It was a dark colored pickup and a white minivan. It just yells tweakers in the back area on green. Trust me I see it a lot where I live. To bat it all he still hasn't put the carts on the list to be back there. Charge the people for the damage when they damage them. You need a cart on this course altogether. I was just very disappointed this last few years there. I'll need a new course to play in Jacksonville which will be hard to find compared to New World when I first started playing there.
@taegon
One of the most memorable courses I’ve ever played! (Over 150) Friendly staff, mind blowing scenery and incredibly fun shots! Make the trip!
@brotherkfh
The Green course at new world will always have a place in my heart!
@andrewjax904
The green course is very neglected at the moment overgrown with several damaged tee pads
@paul2robert
You should offer if you buy 2 discs you get free admission. Upkeep of green course needs attention.
@xkylex666
Moonscape needs upkeep . Hard to walk at times and no golf carts allowed on green now.
@mikestand
Great course! You play on a lot of sand hills and on a hot day feel like you are on a desert. If you are just a beginner like me, and you don’t have a lot of distance or control. I would recommend skipping the par 5s. I spent a lot of time looking for disc on 18. You have a dirt wall and trees to the left and a big pond on the right. Still I would recommend this course to anyone. Scenic! Beautiful! Well worth the 6 dollar fee and I believe sundays and Wednesday’s are free.
