About the course

The Park is owned by the City of Jacksonville and is well maintained and free to play. Multiple Portable Bathrooms are available. There is no longer a Pro Shop or Restaurant. The original Green ("OG") course has been removed and will no longer be an option for Disc Golf.
Multiple portable bathrooms are available near Red course Hole #1, #8 and White course Hole #16. The portable bathroom near Red Hole #9 is not being maintained by the City. Trash containers are not readily available on the course and are not emptied regularly by the city. This issue will be addressed in the near future by the Woodpeckers and NWDGA.
4 Courses (Red 18, Blue/ White 18, Blue/Red 18, Red/White 18).
All 4 courses offer 4 different layouts - Long pad / Short pad to Long basket / Short basket.
Long baskets on the Red course are Yellow Latitude 64 ProBasket Elites.
Short baskets on the Red course are Red Innova DISCatcher 28s.
Long baskets on the Blue course are Blue Prodigy T1s
Short baskets on the Blue course are Green Prodigy T1s
Long baskets on the White course are Dynamic Discs Veterans
Short baskets on the White course are Green Prodigy T1s

1. Red Course. 18 hole Elite Course. Site of the 2017 and 2018 Disc Golf Pro Tour Championship.
2. Blue Course. 9 hole layout feeding out from Pro Shop into Red Course. Can play Red or White Course back.
3. White Course. 9 hole layout. Starts near Red #9 heading back to Pro Shop.
This unique Links layout allows for 4 different 18 hole configurations. All of which will challenge you.
History
The original course was created by “Frisbee Dan“ Berman and was known as the Green course or OG. This course was removed when the city of Jacksonville took over control of the property.
The next evolution of New World was when Phil Arthur and Will Schusterick came to lay out the “Infinity Loop”. This was the brainchild of Phil Arthur, which features the 18 hole Championship Red Course, which starts and ends at the clubhouse. This course was the site of the 2017 and 2018 DGPT championship along with a DGPT silver series.
The Infinity Loop includes the 9 hole Blue course that funnels into an area that includes Red 9 and White 10, which allows a player the opportunity to play Red-White for 18 holes, Blue-White for 18 holes or Blue-Red for 18 holes.
As of 2025 there is no other course in the world featuring this uniquely original design.m
In September 2025, Matt Johnson and Charlie Booras designed 18 shorter holes on the Blue-White Link, making the course more accessible to players that do not have elite throwing distance (which includes the vast majority of players).
Ultimately, Matt and Charlie plan to do the same thing for the red course, the longest and toughest course on the property.
The property itself encompasses 450 acres of abundant wildlife, old growth trees, and well kept grounds.

Good course, needs a trashcan somewhere in the middle. The only ones I saw was on hole 3, which I think is dumb cause you're just getting started with your game. Besides that I can't complain about much more than my game.
