If you are looking to enjoy yourself playing disc golf do not come here. If you do you will end up looking for many discs and trekking through a rain forest of rough. Trekked it back after I saw path to t#4
@hughganis
Good course and shot design. Take a friend with you to help spot your shot with it not being mowed
@wkreais
Horrible, expect to walk in 5ft tall grass as your fairway. Bring your own mower if you want to play.
@vylekena
This course has ALOT of potential, good basket placement, nice tee pads, nice views, BUT the fairways might as well just be called the rough. Went there today and the weeds in the fairway have to be At least 2 - 2 1/2 tall. You can’t find your disc unless you are right on top of it. I get it’s a lot to maintain hoping to play it one day when it’s mowed!
@duluthdisker
Course has not been mown this year. Grass was over 2 feet tall. Many baskets are hidden from tees and are not well marked. It was a very disappointing round.
@josherax
So many open shots, maybe some more technical shorter shots, rough could use some work
@bandguy9
Cool course with some fun holes. Rough is bad but fairways are manageable.
@reesehoffner
Hole four is crazy, basically a shot through the woods with no fairway, LOTS of places to lose discs, use a spotter on every hole
@chrisrymer
only got thrpught the first 9 holes and then called it. cool course but all the rough is waist high. Would highly recommend a spotter on almost every hole. Hole 4 has no fairway and no line through the woods. Hole 5 down to the old ski hill qould be cool if there was a fairway and not just waist high scrub. overall an ok design but might just not be a good summer course. gotta wait till the rough all dies or is all brushhogged if they do that.
@evanwinger1
Super cool old ski resort. No fairway on a few holes, but pleasant overall.
@cjcarey0
Sad to see the course is not being maintained. Fairways are grown almost a foot tall. The course itself (aside from hole 4) is a decent layout with several different shot shapes required. Tee signs are nice but signage between a few holes could be improved.
@sabrynbley
Went at the beginning of spring, it was slippery but we expected that. Also, was quite windy… be cautious of large throws. There are lots of spots to loose even the brightest disk!
@pseudodudo
pretty fun and pleasant course but tough // skinny fairways demand well-placed shots // keep an eye on your discs ‘cause you’ll likely be hunting a bunch
@leroyjohn
Be conservative or be good when playing. Worth playing if in town
@kdawg91
Wider mowed fairways would make this a better experience alone. Overall a decent course, it was frustrating but it was my first play through.
@jmussels
There is a ton going for this course and it really doesn’t deserve the low rating. It’s an excellent long layout and the teepads are immaculate. Fairways were mowed recently and in great shape (the rough is rough, nothing too nuts most places). There are issues, as well. There are a few areas that are clearly part of holes that are on unmowable terrain and it’s pretty bad through there (in particular the last bit of hole 4 and the ski hill on hole 5). The other issue is the layout, which is great for advanced players, is not very friendly for families or beginning players. A second, shorter teepad on every hole except 17 could make this a complete course almost anyone could enjoy!
@sodapressed
Teepads, and signage are fantastic, the scenery is pretty nice. Shots are long, many around corners out of sight. Not recommend without a spotter, even with one, it is really easy to lose discs.
@conradspieles
Now, this is not what you’d typically call a “good course.” However, the long blind hole fairways and harsh roughs have taught me the sport, as i have grown up here. this is a course that seems stupid at first. This is a course that once i know it, becomes fun. it’s different, and has holes that vary in shape and allow throws of all types. i hope to apply for a grant and try and improve this course. It has potential, but don’t come here expecting a well-maintained, usual course.
