"This IS the nicest course in the U.P. As soon as you step on hole one, you know what you're in for. Its pristine, and it was an honor to play here. Well groomed. Gorgeous holes. Mix of wooded and open. Some long, some short. Two teepads, and two baskets on every hole make for an awesome experience no matter what skill. "Played the main course, 27 holes. After about hole 20 it started to get tiring going up and down the huge slopes. It looks like the park is used as a ski park in the winter. Course has an excellent view of the lake at hole 24!"

"Holes 1-18 are amazing! Holes 19-23 not very well kept up but still cool. Holes 24-27 are the 4 best holes I’ve ever seen! This course has it all. Very well kept up. Two tee pads and two baskets on every single hole! There’s a reason this is the #2 course in Michigan!!"

"The good: Well kept. Pretty scenery. Great tee pads and baskets. The bad: Course design. Super tight fairways with trees in the way. Punishing rough everywhere. Super tight greens with trees blocking many baskets (as if a 30 ft putt is easy without trees in the way lol) Not a course for beginners. You WILL lose discs if you aren’t paying attention. "

"Played blue to blue. Great, elite level course design with a few issues. Some of the lines are unrealistically tight with 8’ gaps 250+ off the tee. I’d imagine even par on this layout is 1020ish rated. With some cleaning up and removing select trees to make lines accessible and increase scoring separation, this is a pro tour caliber course. These issues are only apparent on a few holes on the back 9. Birdies are tough to get even with crisp lines and the Par 4s make you work."

Only drawback is the swarms of gnats. Obviously no ones fault, but it made play difficult. My plan is to return early spring before the hatch."

"Very well designed. Picturesque holes, great tees and beautiful colored shiny baskets. Lots of directional variety. Rough around the edges though - it seems as if Gladstone or whomever maintains it could do a bit more weedwhacking/mowing, but it's not terrible at all. Dunno why there is a 24 hole layout on here - hole 23 ends by the ball fields and you have to walk all the way past them all the way to the ski hill to play hole 24, which is followed by 3 more, and uDisc doesn't show 27 holes. "

"Course is beautiful and well taken care of. The undergrowth is well managed and discs are relatively easy to find if not in the fairway. The wooded holes are well thought out with where trees have been cleared to provide challenging yet rewarding holes. There are a lot of simple little perks that show there’s a lot of thought about how this course was done including little arrows inside the blue (pro) baskets to tell you the direction of the next hole if not visible. Definitely worth playing."

"This course is awesome! Some of the most beautiful fairways and rough. The undergrowth is gorgeous and not too bad to find a disc. It was over 90° so I didn't finish my round but I had an absolute blast Pros: Very well laid out. Multiple baskets and teepads on every hole. Great use of space. Fairways weren't too tight in the woods Challenging while fun BEAUTIFUL You can see 360 around you pretty much everywhere. Some ace runs. Cons: Bugs bugs bugs First half plays more to lefty or forehand."
