This course really delivers. Shot shaping, shot variety, landscape, tee pads, and last but not least LANDING ZONES are all phenomenal. Several courses in the state have cool lines and gaps, but poor landing zones that don't reward a good drive with the simple upshot or unobstructed birdie putt. With that said, the par 4s here are still appropriately challenging and require 2 very good shot shapes and shot placement for birdie. There are tight gaps and low ceilings here, but they're fair and (mostly) free of phantom skinny trees that ruin a pure gap hit. Use of elevation change is fun, and the course doesn't feel monotonous in lines and shot type. This is a wonderfully curated and terrific use of park land in a region of eastern Montgomery County that is often neglected in accessibility and amenities. Highly recommend a visit.

This course is a much needed addition to the area. Great shot variety across different holes! Some of the very wooded holes are very punishing, but I’m excited to go back soon!

Very fun course! Good use of the property, in a similar way to County Home. Overall has shorter holes and technical lines. Will test gap hitting ability and scrambling. Very nice tee pads and signage throughout, well maintained, and aesthetically pleasing. Played reds and will be back for blues! Bathrooms/water access in future would be a welcome addition.

Fun course! CART FRIENDLY, only a few steps to navigate... bring it! Hole 14 might have cards/tee pads mixed up? (Red/long & Blue/short). Overall a very fun and pretty course with some challenging lines for sure!

This course was really well thought out and executed even better. Great signage, large Teepads and excellent baskets. One of the better courses in MD already!

What a great public course! The layout is very fun with each 9 kind of ending by the parking lot. Plenty of aceable holes and birdie opportunities. Caint wait to watch the trees grow around the course

Technical course. Easy to find your way around. Smooth edges can be slippy if you find them.

Pretty great new course. Has a couple fluky holes where birdie is only really in play for most people if they can get down a great roller from the longs. But first time there had me happy and impressed with the rest of the layout. Cart friendly.

Fun course. A couple wonky shots where you need to have a certain shot to play/score or you are forced to spray and pray. Its nice to have a course closer. It would be nicer if some more cleaning of smaller. branches would be done. Maybe a tree or two could be removed to make a line for multiple shot shapes. I dont want to be forced to go over the trees because there is no line but I dont like it to remove trees either. I get Woodsboro vibes for a couple holes. Definitely fun but I dont know how it will hold up when it grows in. Some of the trees are right in the way of the lines so they’d need to be continually maintained. The rough will be a lost disc central come growing season. Hopefully MNCPPC will come back to clean it up and continually maintain it or they allow a club to contribute. I do like how they incorporated the trolly beams throughout the course along with using existing paths. You may want to keep your head on a swivel and keep watch of your lie, at some holes. However with all being said, it’s nice to have a course in the area. Hopefully the county is receptive to volunteers and thoughts from the community. Great use of space for disc golfers. I am sure amenities will come. Parking will need to be considered with any tournaments. Depending on what you going for as a goal…it meets catering to normal/new disc golfers. For pros, this course is not a pro level course if you expect to bring people in. It is convenient at best. I am sure Fish had push back from the county with permits and whatever else. He did a great job working with what was given to him. Does not live up to MD staple courses.

I hope they add some wood chips to areas that don’t fill in with grass.

Relatively short, but technical holes. Requires exquisite shot shaping and height control (lots of low ceiling twisty shots). Some might say that there is a lack of lines. Not a course that can be mastered the first time you play it, but definitely worth coming back to try. Great signage and very easy to find your way.

Fun new track, challenging on with loads of trees on 1/4 holes, tee pads are very slippery when wet - we played to the side of tees for safety. Thanks for designing and implementing Moco and Andrew Fish

This is a brand new course and considering it's only been open for a week or so they have put an amazing amount of work into getting it ready for play. The tees are concrete, possibly a little bit short but my main concern will be whether the course becomes muddy making the tease slippery. Because there were a lot of trees and undergrowth cut out the grass has not had an opportunity to grow in and become established yet and the foot traffic may disturb it a lot. The signage is fantastic although the Tee signs for 14 seem to be reversed. Short tees and long tees provide a very different experience on first impressions with the Short tees being very scorable and the long tease providing a much more difficult challenge. There are some very tight Fairways which can be frustrating for new and beginner players but, anybody who knows how to throw a forehand roller or develops one can mitigate a lot of the troubles on those holes. The course will help develop accuracy. The rough is very tight but will loosen up as the course gets broke in.

It would be five stars if not for the gross unfairness of 18. Should be a par 5. Fantastic course though.
