Solid 9 hole course. Nothing too fancy. Park-style disc golf with lots of mature trees in the fairways. Couple of fun ace runs mixed in. Wish it was 18 holes. Great place for beginners. Worth a visit.

Fun little course. Very popular with the locals. We would play again. Great beginners course. A little confusing with the layout of the holes occasionally but the fly over QR was a great tool to quickly figure out the layout.

Hole 9 is a little weird. The basket is much farther to the left than the sign seems to indicate

Just a nice, compact, flat 9-basket par 3 course tucked into the back of Oak Grove Park. Beginner friendly with minimal obstacles. Can be quite muddy at times after heavy rains.

Okay 9 that gets crowded. Middling use of trees. Informal back 9 is better designed

Great little course if you don’t have much time. Tees aren’t marked but if you use the udisk app you’ll be ok.

Update 10/6/24: Ol’ OG has new life!!! New baskets courteous of Rick Gilmore and The Monkey himself Russell Burns!! New monkey traps, brand new signs (even with flyover shots from Dan Routh at Dan’s Disc Dyes πŸ’ͺ) and several new benches added in throughout the course.. It feels like new while still keeping the vibe of the course intact.. Couldn’t have been done any better!!! Additionally the city has recently come in and added dirt into run down areas where roots were exposed, and added mulch under the baskets.. So glad to see the place getting the love it deserves!!!! Can’t wait to see the putting basket added in (sounds like they will be using one of the old baskets as a way to pay homage to the course, as well as a commemorative plaque). The only thing that would make it perfect would be redoing the pads on 5 & 9 to match the basket placement, but I’m beyond ecstatic to see the improvements!!! Old review: Bout time to have ol’ OG updated. Really tired of seeing my discs go right through chains & out the other side, or shoot out the side of a basket, not using the #9 tee pad so I don’t trip and fall on my ass.. Been throwing there since early 2000’s and with all the foot traffic going through there now vs. then seems like the small investment to do it would be more than worth it!!! And (I’m dreaming here) but if looking to make an update adding tee pads for an 18-hole layout would be epic!

Has potential but needs to be renovated with new baskets and tee pads for the 18 hole layout.
