Been playing this course a few times a year for about 8 years now and it's really apparent that it's just not maintained. I remember really loving this course for it's shot variety and spicy greens. Still had that, but also hunting for discs in calf deep grass in the fairways. A couple tee pads are just sandboxes at this point. Really a bummer for such a great course to fall into disrepair.
@eagles2010
Fun but lost 2 disc 1 in the lake 1 in the woods
@doctordreams
This is very challenging. Bring discs to lose if you want to try the shots over the water. This is what I wanted though so I was happy with it!
@jotato
Great course, but it was definitely hard to navigate and okay for it being my first time
@trueharleygirl
Course layout: exceptional, challenging yet fair on most holes. It was thoughtfully created, but it's feels a little neglected. Water carry holes need some brush work to be truly playable. Hole 15 and 17 should have a secondary line for am throwers. Sign posts are in disrepair. No next tee signs. Udisc is helpful. Using a spotter on the back nine is helpful to not hit random wandering pedestrians and also keep track of your discs if you throw an errant shot. Worth a stop to play but be prepared.
@stuartsch
Tee signs are missing, no direction to next tee, aging course.
@fatdan
Such a pretty walk. Very difficult course. Pars should be adjusted. Several par 3's are absurd.
@tysonphipps
Some holes are very long, and brush would be very bad in any season but winter. However, great baskets, some greats scenery and challenges.
@biggsheezy
The course needs some work removing tree branches from fairways. Most of the course is awesome. Tee signs are all broken . They just cut fairways .
@ninjanic
Great course, but minimal maintenance in some areas means you'll have a hard time searching. Would not recommend for beginners.
@prestidigit8tor
Very challenging course. Shots over water are overgrown so there isn't great lines to the basket. Every single tee sign is either broken leaning up against a tree or missing. Very hard to navigate without UDisc. Could be a great course but needs a lot of work.
@xakaakx
Extremely challenging course playing around Oak Island. Water comes into play in quite a few holes. Beautiful fairways and amazing views everywhere. Several extremely challenging par 4s await you along with no holes without elevation changes except hole 1. This is a must play course if you are looking to play an extremely hard but fair course here in Southern MN.
@tomsdiscgolf
Beautiful location ruined by the awful layout. Gimmick shots, baskets 3 ft from water and wood lines, pars all screwed up, overgrown tunnels, no shorts, missing tee signs
@floy82
Other than signage, Hole 17 could use a little bigger window to the green
@kbunder
I feel a little bad for such a low score . If I could score potential or hole by hole it might make a difference. Many tee pads are hard to find, several tee signs are missing. There is very little trimming bringing done in the Wooded areas. The front 10 were fun with water really not being an issue. I played to 18 basket from 11s pad. 15- 18 are so ridiculous I didn’t even play them. If your chance of losing your disc is over 75% you should probably think about redesigning the hole. A fantastic piece of property that could be amazing but has not be taken care of well .
@jonnyt123
Pretty difficult course. The first few holes can put you in a really bad mindset, they’re some of the hardest. A few holes require a 300 ft water carry, so if you’re not confident in your throw, just play around it. Some teepads badly need to be cleaned up. Some signage is also missing.
@scottfolkert
Challenging but fair. It would be nice if the course ambassador could change some of the par scores. I know par is relative, but some of those aren’t par three’s for any skill level. Hole signs are in really rough shape too
@jasonmurak
Super tough course, some tee pad signs are on the ground. Water in play on most of the second half of the course
