Oaks & Ivy was built by students enrolled at the Oaks Academy and School of Innovation. This course is a pitch and putt taking place along the schools cross country trail. Please note that the course is under restricted hours during the school year for student safety.

Hole 1 is one of the top 5 “Worst Holes in North Carolina”. In the summer, there is only a minuscule landing zone off the tee. If you’re shot goes badly you’re in blackberry thorns, dense weeds, and probably poison ivy. Does the “Ivy” in the course name refer to poison ivy? I’m afraid that this course will traumatize kids against playing disc golf. Do No Harm!
