@shawnmc
Fun park course. Lots of walkers and close fairways to each other. Worth the stop for us on the way to the coast.
@turtledude
Lots of other people using the park for other things need to watch your discs. Great for a nice short fun round.
@ericvde
Pretty clearly was an existing park that they tried to shove disc golf into. Clearly they tried to avoid high traffic and pedestrians on some holes, but othered ignored it completely. This means that when it’s a nice day or people are using the park heavily, it’s nearly impossible to play a full round. It’s not great for experienced players because it’s not very long or exciting, and it’s not great for new players because they’re in danger of hitting someone with a disc. It’s a bad look for disc golf in general when it feels like we have to take turns with other public park users instead of having a dedicated space (hole 7 is a great example of dedicated space inside a public park). While I am glad there is disc golf in Hillsboro, we have to do better than Orchard Park.

Please beg the city for more holes or alternate basket positions!
@asapdougie
Fun shorty 9 hole, good for beginners or more advanced to hone their approach game
@jomebrew
Nice, fun short course. Great to get your feet wet into disc golf and literally with the long wet grass. Kind of squishy in the fairways and around the tees. Disliked the several very short tee pads. Guess I need to work on my three step run up. Tee pad traction was good though. Tee signs were good indicating multiple basket locations but we had no way of knowing which basket position it was in. Sure we can see the basket but like to know the distance and to be sure we were throwing to the right one since you can see two or three from each tee. Hope 2 was the most confusing and we almost through to the 9 basket. Parking was easy and bathrooms right there if needed. No real issues with pedestrians are except hole 1 where you throw over the path.
@chasezielinski
Couple of opposing fairways but understandable due to space constraints. Easy to miss hole seven without next tee markers. Poorly chosen OB lines can make it difficult to call OB.
@birdrock
Good for beginners or to practice midrange shots and putting.
@danrbrook
Lovely small course with walking paths close but not really interfering at all, except on #1 tee.
@loganmineer
Easy going ace run course
@ryanparker
Great park course. Very well maintained. Great course to learn and fine tune skills.
@benihana
Great condition in the summer, muddy in the winter. Nice mid and putter course.
@brodycannon
Clean city course. Very crowded on a nice day, and muddy as heck in places during the winter. Overall a fun putter practice course for an experienced player, or a great beginner course. Update: I got us new pin placements on every hole, adding a fair amount of difficulty to the course. I also got new Mach 7 baskets, which are fantastic. Working on new signs right now, and maybe new teepads next year. It’s becoming one of my favorite courses in town!
@clericsandman
New baskets and placements. A little muddy in a few parts.
@shankster
Well maintained. Simple short course. Good for beginners. Watch for lots of pedestrians and park goers.
