Featuring short cement tees and older DGA baskets, thi course begins with several open holes before delving into the woods. The wooded holes wind around a small creek where discs are easily retrievable (if you are willing to get wet) and over a pond where retrieving discs is not as easy. Most holes are on the shorter side with two quite short par fours. Expect difficult scrambling if you end up in the rough. A good course that would rate higher if the basket on nine was not missing and the tee pads were longer. If you find yourself in the area, it is worth playing.
@bemery12
The front 9 is pretty open and fun, but you get to the back 9 and every shot is a short tunnel shot with super thick rough. And the pathing/finding the next hole is just not good/weird on the back.
@luthierguy
Course has much potential but needs a lot of TLC. It's mosquito city by the creek, which has a distinctive odor. The first 9 holes are decent but once you get into the woods bring the heavy duty bug spray. Signage is non-existent but the course flows fairly decently.
@trevorpumnea
Not the best course I've ever played, the rough is very rough, but I will absolutely be back to play it again. The shapes were quirky and the course was pretty fun. Bring a little disc retriever or something.
@bensovacool
Someone has obviously done some work here but this course is still not very good. A new person playing here with a beginner pack would lose every disc into the jungle like rough. The fairways are very narrow, even for the shortness of the holes. The tee pads are quite short but level with the surrounding ground. The signs seemed to be very hit and miss with their accuracy. The river that was running through this was also completely green on top in early June but this has been a strange start to the summer with massive amounts of rain. I was pretty disappointed.
@mattyk9
This seems like a well designed course, it just ne es some maintenance. Good use of trees and water to force a certain shit shape. Seems like it's the right difficulty for a course near a campground, could easily play it with just a few discs.

Fun Day at Benton Beach!
@mrheat
Great work on cleaning up this course signs may need updating but great course now
@zugzug108
Looking great out there compared to just a month ago, some folks hard at work out there making this a great course again. Only maybe one hole that doesn’t have a clear line to it yet which is so impressive considering how overgrown and rough the whole thing was recently.
@joetheisen
Course is in great shape finally thanks to Joe Smith and the other people who helped out.
@mucko906
Tight course, streams and plenty of trees to avoid. Frustrating but fun.
@furryantelope
Really tight course adjacent to streams.
@nickdegroote
Fun course to play now that work has been completed opening up the lines again. There is the possibility of more small improvements next year with mowing more of the long grass around 6 and 8, and also possibility bridges on 11, 15 and 16. Nothing has been decided for sure regarding that though.
@chrisby
All the fairways are extremely tight. I throw here every year, and somehow it just gets worse. Great landscaping crew that works at the campground. They just fail to see the reason the coarse is rarely played.
@bones2039
Overgrown in several places. At least saw some work on 12 which had gotten almost unplayable for rec players like myself. Still a fun course.
@tbro0220
Pretty good for a campground course. Don't use green disc unless they're bright.
