About the course
Note: this course has a label "invite only" due to a udisc policy about object courses. However, the course is open to everyone.
The course has 2 layouts: one is designed for beginner players with a driving distance of 30m (100 feet), and the other for intermediate players with a driving distance of 60m (200 feet). To play, you must download and follow the instructions of the following document:

The course is an object-to-object course:
• A course is an area divided into multiple segments.
• A segment is a land area with a tee-off object where players start, and a target object which the players try to reach with their disc.
• Objects are trees and structures of the course.
• Tee-off object: When playing a segment, players must start near the tee-off object. During the first throw, all points of contact with the ground must be with-in 2m of the base (or skirt) of the tee-off object (note: your run-up may start outside the area).
• Target object: when playing a segment, the goal of each player is to reach the target area of the target object with the fewest number of throws. The target is reached when the disc touches the area of the target marked between the two white lines, or touches one of the lines.
• The marked areas simulate the opening height of a standard disc golf basket (75cm from the ground, 45cm in height).
• If you cannot find the white lines, you can approximate the area; for an average adult, the area will range between the hip and arm pit height. If you want to mark the lines, use chalk or wax crayons; do not permanently damage the tree's trunks.
• Most target objects are trees and the target area is on their trunk. Some trees have 2 trunks; both are marked and thus touching any of them is correct. One target object is a metal post; the same principle applies.
• The course is in a public park; be mindful of other users and fauna.
• Be mindful of surrounding private properties.
• Some target objects are not always visible; use spotters and helpers when needed.
• The bike path (and everything west of it), streets and all private properties are out-of-bounds.
• The course starts south of Donald street.
• The courses designed in 2021 and 2022 are still available; however during the winter of 2022-2023, many trees used by those courses, have fallen and are now gone. You will need to adapt the old courses with new objects. You can download the old courses using the following links:

I love that this object course is easily accessible on Public transit. The two beginner layouts have been great for introducing my friends to disc golf. There are occasionally a few other users of the park but given the size of the park and its central location, there is surprisingly little traffic off the bike paths. Also it is easy to wait or change the target of the hole to play through.
