@ryan145
I am going to assume that they are still working on this course because there are obvious muddy trails for small tractors etc. The shot shapes are really cool with nice tee pads and great signage. The fairways are at times insanely tight for the shape that needs to be thrown and the rough is insanely thick. When they’re done, this will be an amazing course.
@mikethomas
Shorter very wooded layout with what looks to be very punishing off the fairway when not winter. Reminds me of Elwood. The 8 tees that are different are quite different so playing 18 would be fine. Not a course I will rush to play again, however good for this area which has none close by. I do give credit to the designer for effort.
@dermodyl
This “park” has a lot of debris dumped in (concrete and asphalt) that I only assume is from this development. Had to dodge about 20 mountain bikers that swerved in and out of the disc golf course. Probably cool for people who live in the subdivision, but I wouldn’t return
@jwfox41
Nice new course. Still needs some work on a few holes clearing so lines aren’t as difficult to lose a disc but loved the design, trails, trash cans, tee pads, signs, and unique stairs and elevation.
@isamoor
I finally went back and played it after it is "complete". I can tell some love, and lots of money, have gone into this. But it's just a real awkward course still. Many of the lines are super tight. And yet most shorts are under 200'. So beginners will get frustrated and even amateurs are mostly practicing approaches from the shorts. But then half the longs almost have no ~fair line. And I would only suggest playing this in the winter. The rough is pretty crazy even with no leaves in play. Any other time of the year and you'll want to take turns spotting. Also does not drain well after rain. But dang there's money in this already. Huge nice concrete pads and obscenely expensive, massive staircases that will outlive me. If you're a local Indy frolfer I suppose you should play it once to experience it and determine if it's your cup of tea. If you're visiting Indy or passing through then play somewhere else. There's similar quirks with the mountain bike course at the same park. Fairly short, but insane terrain that no amateur MTBer will feel comfortable on.
@hockeyisgood
Just fix 14s tee shot and this course is a great 9 hole
@jstueve
A different kind of disc golf course. Everything is short but there’s a good shot variety. Would be great for a beginner but still pose a challenge for an experienced player.
@hossler28
Seriously overgrown course. Would 100% rate higher if some landscaping and cleanup was done.
@deanohde
Recommend throwing bright colored discs you don’t mind losing. No real lines, just kinda throwing down some overgrown trails
@kevinhodel
Some additional stairs in a couple places would be nice. Hole five was hard to find.
@arobsizzle
Cool course, super tight lines. The long tees are 50/50 good shots and stupid shots imo
@wesgreen913
Brush is pretty thick and navigating is a little difficult. The course is beautiful enough to make up for that though. Love the shot variety and little elevation changes. Wish this course was in my neighborhood!
@zaccattack
Most of the fairways are extremely tight, rough is very rough. The shot shaping is nice, but overall need some work.
@prettyben
Think they tried to do too much. Should have just tried to make nine good holes rather than trying to put two tees per basket. I’m not sure if I caught it at a bad time, but it also seems like it might not be getting enough maintenance/play to keep from getting a bit overgrown.
@gansonsalmon
Rough. Zionsville deserves a better course
@reesehoffer17
Honestly love the idea for the course and the technicality of it. Just needs to be a little more beaten in. The fairways are freshly carved out and cut down but there doesn’t seem to be specific shot shaping because of all of the brush and how narrowly carved out the fairways are. Will definitely keep coming here though
@zackshack
Shorts feel like Morse park, very welcoming with clear lines. The back nine is very technical and be prepared to bushwhack. I’m optimistic to see how the course develops when finalized.
