Couldn't have asked for anything else, besides brighter baskets. One of my favorite courses of all time. Time of year and weather might be biasing my round vs others.
@tkieck
Traveling from Wisconsin this is the type of course I was hoping for in the Black Hills! Beautiful, challenging but still very fun. It wasn’t nearly as rough as the course description made it seem. Some blind shots but discs were easy to find. Will definitely play it again.
@ribboy58
Beautiful course that everyone should experience when in the area. It is difficult at times to know where you are throwing it. If you haven't played this course before. Make sure you use the map on UDisc and you shouldn't have any problem finding your way around. Pay close attention where your disc is going as there are many opportunities to lose discs. The scenery is absolutely beautiful!
@noahmerritt
Incredible! Absolutely unbelievably gorgeous!
@grimreker
The hike is not as bad as some other mt. Style golf but it does exist. The ankle high grass can hide discs but the mostly open fairways with cleaned out underbrush and small trees makes it a fair course for lines. Look at the bottom of baskets for arrows to point to the next basket. This was such a fun and challenging experience that I would never pass up if in the area.
@stevehedstrom
Awesome course with lots of elevation and great views. Bring lots of water. Definitely worth the trip and highly recommend for anyone with at least some experience.
@btuss1
Steep but worth the hike! Play for the love of the game and not the score. 🥹
@snoopy15
Make sure you have UDisc . But definitely play this course.
@thedav
Basket missing on hole 6. Beautiful property. Several baskets are elevated next to steep drop offs. This is pretty ridiculous and should be corrected. The roll away potential is plenty without elevated baskets. This just forces layups for anything much farther than a tap in. Save the elevated baskets for flat and easy greens.
@blakebailey
Love the hole design and challenge of it. Wish there was no tall grass.
@tmyth79
This would be a 4.5 star course if there were defined fairways, more accurate pointers to next tee, better indicators on baskets, or just played a ton more. I would definitely play again though now that I know it.
@mboehner
Rocks, Trees, And elevation. Everything you want in a short disc golf course nestled in the black hills.
@kevinrneufeld
Fantastic play. Great shot variety and elevation. Fantastic views. Well with the trip over.
@chetman
This is an awesome course. Super fun. I was there in March so weeds still flat but for all those whining to mow fairway - give me a break - it’s a mountain course. This can not be mowed. This is what a mountain course is - it’s suppose to be rugged. If you want your course mowed then you better stick to the 9 hole park courses. Been on mountain courses in Colorado and this rates right up there. Well done Custer!
@amiedema
A very fun and interesting course that takes advantage of the topography and the geology of the area. The holes are fun, challenging and unique. You will definitely need UDisc to find your way around and I suggest bringing a friend to help you spot disks as most shots are blind, and the landing areas are tall grass.
@jdeal2009
Really beautiful course. Need a spotter though.
@nthannum
Beautiful course. Some hidden tea positions but all marked with a tall flag. Unmowed fairways simply marked with the walking path. Take your time. Watch your shots and you'll have a fun round
@motron
Nice course, holes mostly on the short side, faded tee signs tough to read for first timers.
@scroggs
Great, hope to play it when the tee's are in the long pin
@flashdrive76
Great design and layout! Be Ready to spot discs
