This course is awesome. One of the best eighteens I've played. Good shot variety and definitely worth the five dollar pay to play. Get some tee pads and it would be five stars. Whoever designed it needs a raise
@discgolflyer
Really enjoyed playing course only problem was I should of played s second round except no one was around.
@nbronaugh
I saw one comment say it was a hidden gem and boy were they not lying, out here in the middle of the flat panhandle of Texas this little valley appeared out of nowhere and boy was it beautiful, they did an amazing job with upkeep and shot variety making good use of all the landscape and terrain. Me and my buddy played the short course and thoroughly enjoyed it, there wasn’t a huge difference between the long course and the short! The only single thing I would critique would have to be the tee areas, but anyhow I would definitely recommend playing here because I couldn’t stop looking around and saying wow because it was truly a little hidden gem!!
@mstahlecker
Natural teepees with no maps or distances on the tee signs. Lots of goatheads and stickers in the fairways. I set my bag down a few times and came up with a handful of stickers stabbing me as I put my bag on. Also I was unable to finish my round because my dog was constantly stepping on goatheads. I made a special trip out of my way around two hours to play this course and was very disappointed the 4.1 star rating it has is not accurate
@steveduvall
Whoever said this place is a gem wasn’t lying! Challenging but fun and a hike with purpose! Worth the drive and the 5 bucks to play! If you haven’t played it yet you need to.
@ricob12
Awesome course and well maintained. Good layout on the shirts with challenges. Longs provide more of a challenge for advance players.
@vasthockey
Beautiful course with some challenging lines here and there, Course is well maintained and cleaned up. Be prepared to lose service once you drop below the dam, no cell phone carrier is strong enough.
@hagen0123
Tons of fun
@matthart
Fun course with its challenges. Hole 16 is epic. A few holes that are par 3 that are a little far but would also be an easy birdie if they were par 4.
@alas97
Challenging and scenic course
@maryecollins
Pretty well maintained. Several holes just cross-cross a fairly open field, but the pins placement makes them interesting anyway. Since the course is inside a state park with camping sites there are restrooms/port-a-potties available at a few key places. This may not be normal, though, as we played shortly after a tournament ended.
@aggiekyle
Course was in good repair, there seems to have been a tournament here recently (lots of DD OB flags about). Without UDisc it wasn’t obvious which way to head for the next teebox, but otherwise it was a fun course combining tunnel shots, wide open holes, and one fun drive from a hillside.
@rbaker1689
Great course. A few holes, 3, 7, and 9, depending on where OB is drawn, are really not feasible unless you have 450 foot hyzer power. Overall it was a cool layout. Only played the long tees, the shorts would be a whole different course almost.
@haon24
Badass layout Josh. Good job man. The longs are mean.
@jakedueland
Fun course. Very well designed. 3 and 5 can lose a disc pretty easy but over all a great course with fun holes. Can't wait for the next 9!
@sawyers
Was really looking forward to playing here but frustration quickly set in. Lack of signage makes the place practically unplayable for someone there for the first time and just wants to get a quick round in. My phone/internet(verizon) works on the highway but not down in valley. Made being able to use GPS to find tees useless. took picture of the faded map at the station, that wasnt much help either. Besides spending 10mins/hole hunting for the tees the place is actually pretty well laid out.
@cademcfadden
Course is a little hard to follow but with u disc it isn't to bad but you wont have any cell signal but a pretty great course
@joshjohnson
Well groomed course with very clean restrooms by hole 1. Dirt teepads with short and long tees. Water spickets located throughout the course. Tall trees, some water hazard, and unique fairways that challenge even advanced level players. $3/day rate when you enter the area, which also features grills, picnic tables, and plenty of camping with full hookups available.
