Honestly didn't have a great time, several great looking shots turned into lost discs due to poorly maintained portions of "fairway". Several great holes to challenge both a strong forehand and backhand shots.
@arowe34
Very fun but challenging course. It appears to be very well maintained but with the recent rain it was a little muddy. Probably not a destination course but if you are in the area you should definitely check it out.
@benjibaggins
A very fun, beautiful course that offers a good variety of shots with a couple par 4s mixed in. Multiple ponds and a river live here, which make it beautiful, but may take your disc if you’re not careful. What holds this course back is the wet ground and off fairway upkeep. Quite a few areas can have standing water if it has rained recently, and the first 9 holes are easy to lose discs on because of the natural growth off the fairways, which usually isn’t cut more than once or twice a year, and is so thick that it can be hard to find a disc, even with a spotter. The nice thing about this is, there are basically never backups here, and once you play it a few times you can learn to avoid the worst spots.
@wsecord
Great challenging course with tough T shots over water. Lost 2 disc. But it was still fun. Great shapes to this course. Worth the 45 minute drive. Rolling and beautiful.
@gtwoodson
Great course with great views. The tall grass can be a little thick however and tough for first time players
@joshualbernard
Keep an eye on your disks. Course looks fantastic, but easy to lose discs in the tallgrass.
@mburchfield
Well maintained and challenging with a variety of shots needed. Good mix of long and short holes. My only complaints are that too many of the tee shots are blind, and some of the holes are too close together and could be dangerous if groups are playing on adjacent holes.
@n8barton
A beautiful property. Really tough for out of towers to play due to super high rough. Good shots can be punished here, as some fairways are only 30' wide at 350' long. The rough is 3-4ft tall, a disc can be lost 1ft off fairway. Stinging nettles, tall weeds, and leafy undergrowth makes it hard to look for discs. Tough balance to take away the beauty and nature to make the course more playable. Very, very good chance of losing a disc here even on a good shot.
@tharrison32
Amazing layout on an old ball golf course, it has such a great variety of shot shapes, and the natural beauty of the land is great. Beware the Paw Paw Abyss, the water on many of the holes and the thick weeds will consume your plastic and your dreams.
@duanebosma
This course will swallow your discs. Do not play by yourself. 90% of the holes need a spotter.
@tpotter4
Beautiful course that doesn’t get the recognition it deserves due to thick rough and holds water in the fairways after it rains
@drkevns
This is such a beautiful and unique course. Definitely a favorite of mine. Fairways are always pristinely mowed. Rough is brutal unless you play it in spring (can be wet and muddy!!) or after they clear it (happens occasionally). 9 is one of the best water holes I’ve ever played—and there’s a decent amount of water in play on the course (~4 holes). The par 4s are pretty soft, but hole 2 is one of my favorite ever. Just beautiful. Unlike any other courses in the area really.
@cdavis17
Can’t play with the hemlocks so tall lost two discs on back to back holes and left
@jberwanger
Great golf course style course! Some nice short holes mixed with some longer par 3s and 4s. There are some holes with water hazards, so I wouldn’t recommend for beginners.
@apgrapids
Great course. Easy to lose discs but good variety of hole ans shot types
@skywalkr
Great course! Beautiful, great design with fair but challenging lines and big distance is required to score well. Tee pads are long, signage has some inaccuracies but nice maps. It has floods often and the rough is difficult to find a disc in so stay in the fairway!
@daviddevroyjr
Winter pads are an ice rink…. But it is actually winter so toughen up buttercup. Kidding; at least the water hazards were manageable.
