This is a fine little course as is, and when some signs are up its going to be great. Short, technical, without being impossible.
@franksavage420
Great shot variety. Good baskets, bogus tee pads. Better carry an iron rake to smooth em out. Otherwise, signage and way finding has greatly improved
@adurgin
This is a nice par 3 course. A few holes don’t have a great line to the basket but nice overall. The park is multi-use, so impediments will inevitably occur. Today, for example, hole 6 was unplayable because a childcare group occupied the fairway. I’m excited to have a course available in Portland proper.
@claberge80
Best place to glow and throw on random weekday night.
@jademet
1-4 are lacking, 5-9 fun and kinda tough. They did their best with the space. Glad it’s free, great place to practice
@david3k
Had a great time. Lovely short course. Beautiful setting. Holes 4-8 are tough. 8…seems impossible. Looking forward to returning and playing and swing what new stuff gets put in.
@mitchellgill17
Happy to see that a small park course is getting some love with all the new bridges being putt in
@cdelapp208
For a random course in a park in Portland, it's pretty good. Could use actual teepads and signage though.
@mordo063
Nice course for a public park good shot variety but needs signage and teepads. Teepads are just areas that were cleared of grass and are still muddy.
@reedteaches
Great location and can’t beat the price (free). Needs signs and some of the fairways need the ceiling raised to be more playable (tip, one part of each basket has red tape, pointing you in the direction of the next tee). But compared to the other somewhat local, free options this is the best course of that bunch.
@bigbabyjesus69
Very solid 9-hole.
@robthepope86
A couple of the wooded holes are nearly impossible for a Public 9. Ceiling to low, or undefined fairways make the holes not fun to play. Only a few of the best holes from the “pop up” course made this layout. Hole 9 ends too far from hole 1. Hole 4 landing zone is striped with an awful mud pit with no warning. I understand it was hard to get approval, and sharing space safely with other park goers is a challenge, but this course was a disappointing tease. Its a great offering for new and developing players in the area, and its Free, so you can’t complain too much. I am thankful we won the fight to get a course put in and grow the sport and offer access to new players.
@davis3ryan
Awesome start, they just need to spend some more time getting it ready and then it’ll be really great
@edevio
Once they put in some concrete for the pads it will be a pretty solid course
@chadtower
Great beginning. Can't wait until signage is up and teepads are done.
@tossinmaine
Holes 4 6 and 8 have no fairway at all. Sounds like there will be next year! Just leaving 5 stars to boost ratings.
@buzzzmichel
Under construction. Looking forward to improvements soon. Good start
@domainedisc
Great new course! Thanks for adding it in Portland!! We need more free courses .
@griffiath
Place has a ton of potential, and I know this has been a worked on for a long time. Appreciate free public courses and this one will only get better. Thanks JoySwitch!
