WARNING: First about 12 holes or so are fantastic. After that a ton of the fairways/course design make zero sense. You aren't throwing between trees or shot shaping, the most rewarding part of driving off the tee, you just chuck over bunches of trees especially the back 9 (18-27) defeating the purpose of having a fairway which on some holes there literally isn't one. This is the largest problem with Peak One. Way too many blind holes with wildly inaccurate maps forcing you to walk up tons of fairways to see where the basket really is. A lot of greens are swarmed with tons of trees within 6 feet of the hole granting no reward for throwing close. "Great views" don't make the course play any better so reviews with 5 stars because you get a good look at the surrounding mountain range should be ignored. Peak One is not newcomer friendly and needs a ton of work to be considered even close to 4 - 5 stars. Getting around from hole to hole almost certainly requires a map. There are many different running and biking trails throughout so going down the wrong one is very easy. Tee pads are cement but somewhat short. Baskets are pretty old but work. Very little amount of long grass so searching is generally pretty easy. Heed my warning, do not let the reviews fool you. There are many 4 to 5 star courses in this country, some which I have played. This isn't one of them, guaranteed.

I loved the course…when I knew where I was going. Even with the UDisc app, it was difficult to find the basket. The course could do much better at updating where the next Teebox is, as well as which basket is in play. I spent a lot of time wandering around, trying to find the basket since the trees obstruct the view for much of the game. So you have to take a long walk from the tee to identify where a basket is before teeing off. For this reason I’m giving a 3 star rating, and I play a lot of courses. Too bad.

Cool course with lots of different lines to hit. Most holes you could not see from the tee.

Almost didn’t play this course by reading one of the last reviews. Don’t know what they were looking for, I really enjoyed playing it. Nice concrete tee’s, 27 holes. I would definitely recommend and look forward to playing it again.

Would be 5 stars all day long but if I didn’t find locals to follow it would have been a scavenger hunt to find tee pads and directions. An easy fix.

Gorgeous course! My only complaint is that the baskets in UDisc are not in the same layout as the course. Holes 2 and 18 are the ones I remember. This is now one of my favorite courses and I came in from Indiana.

Amazing views good hole layout. Good to scout baskets first for a first time player. Loved the course. Good condition. Only improvement would be if a few more baskets were visible from tee pad. Tough for a first time player.

Fun mountain course. Contrary to some of these reviews, it’s more than great scenery. There is plenty shot variety. Although you may have to walk out to spot the basket, there are fun shots through the trees.

Lots of forehand shots. Wish it played back on the water more. Still fun! Thought it would busier, everyone is super friendly and let me pass through as a single. Love this course!

This is an absolutely fabulous course on your second round. Unfortunately the grounds crew (town) does not update the pin placements on UDisc. This can cause some to be frustrated. The baskets are “dated” and way finding are the only detractors. Not the best place for the family of 7 with 12 discs.
