Definitely needs some upkeep. The grass and bushes and weeds are so overgrown,.especially where the baskets are in hill tops and holes 1 and 2. Use bright discs for sure
@mrzuvela
Overall, a longer course. Open fairways. Lots of grass so wear your hikers.
@paintrain51
Tried to play a round here and the weeds were so high that they were obstructing the baskets. Walking through knee-high grass to find your disc in rattlesnake country makes it easy to never play here. If there was actual upkeep done, this course would be one of the best in the city. Who is supposed to be maintaining it? Feels like such a waste.
@erikfast1992
Got to appreciate how many high quality course we have in Lethbridge and surrounding area. This one will test your fortitude, not for the faint of heart.
@hemittz
Bring bug spray for sure! Overall the course is awesome with challenging narrow fairways, but life is a lot easier if you bring a spotter to play with. Looking through the can become tedious
@rangerdave8
Good couce with tight fairways. Has lot of great potential!
@albertahab31
Too hard to find discs in the tall grass
@tbakes21
Need to cut more of the tall grass all over. Too easy to lose a disc in the grass
@bran15
Didn’t get to play the whole course but will go back to play when we have more time. Excited to see what the disc golf community is going to do with this course!
@jfoxxx
Great tee offs but could be a smidge wider found myself running off the box, but a nice course and a must for all levels
@jhearty
Over time, course could fun with some more obstacles. Felt pretty bland in its current condition. Would play again, but definitely my least favorite in town
@skankmo
The fairways have been now been cut. The rough isn't too deep, but watch very closely if you miss the fairway. Walk straight towards your disc using a point in the distance. The rough is tricky and the disc can stand straight up making it hard to see.
@dredd0606
Don't play here unless you want to roll an ankle. Very lumpy, zero chance for run-up aside from tees. Needs a lot of work to be enjoyable by the average disc golfer.
@thedarkkitten
Decent course, bad footing off small fairways, you will spend at least a half hour collectively looking for your discs in the grass.
@jmshaynes
Mowed very nicely recently … now is the time to play it. Clearly mowed fairways make this course much more enjoyable to play
@ironwolf
Played this when it was first installed and played it again 2 years later. I wanted so badly to like it but it’s challenging. For being such a bomber course you would expect it to have nice fairways for multiple run ups needed to par or attempt birdies for the course. At the end of the day this course will develop those bomb arms but just not encouraging to new players or those who have weak ankles like myself. I’ll come back in 2 years and maybe I will have another outlook on it. Regardless Lethbridge has 4 courses so you really just can’t complain with options this one being the long throw option.
@nwilsn
Plays like a links golf course, it is very nicely mowed on the fairways and is significantly flatter than when the course first went in. Not friendly to newer players as if you miss the fairway the grass is long but relatively easy to find if you watch the full flight of the disc and have an accurate idea of how far you threw as the grass is thin. Very enjoyable to play and looks nice with the manicured fairways. Fairways could be wider for newer players/players that throw less than 300 but is very fair for experienced players.
