The property is beautiful! Using Udisc is the best way to navigate around. Most pins are visible from the tee. Look for little breaks in the barbed wire fences, big enough for a person to get through, small enough to corral an animal. If you're patient and scout ahead a bit, you should be able to navigate all 18 holes successfully. You're playing disc golf in Costa Rica, it's going to be an adventure! If you're worried about losing discs in the jungle, they have bins full of them for rent.

Hard course to rate. It was super fun and unique to play disc golf in the Costa Rican jungle. But the course is very overgrown and a little hard to navigate. Be prepared to lose discs. If you are playing with another, use each other to spot where your discs land. Very likely you will lose discs anyway though. Still, what an experience hucking plastic in the jungle. Bring plenty of water. Would be rated lower if not for the novelty. If you are travelling and an avid discer, this really is a must.

Disc in the Costa Rican hills, what an experience! Beautiful property to explore, but the topography is extreme especially if you're cranking the odd shot like me. We ended up tapping out at 14 due to the heat. Recommend to get there early as possible to avoid that. Found most holes fine, but some were missing signs for the tees. 5 especially was confusing. Tee off from the top of the road and throw around the right side of barb wire area up top.

Very tough hike, the guy that showed us the property was so cool. Threw some Axes with him before teeing off. Cool experience overall

Still my favorite course since 2015. Played dozens of times. I recommend the weekly tournament to have regulars show you the ropes (hazards, landings, shortcuts) if you know the layout it’s very enjoyable. World class amenities offered by the country club also. Course has a bit of everything from ocean view drives on 11 and 12, to jungle ace on 3. Keep in mind course is on a 100+ acre property with 18 baskets so if you don’t want to hike just stick to the bottom 9. Great people, gorgeous views.

Such a cool experience! These people out here at St. Michael’s are living their best lives and I’m glad they made disc golf a part of it! Might be a little dense with vegetation, but you’re playing disc golf in the Costa Rican jungle! Not a course to try and shoot for low scores, rather a life experience that you’ll not regret! Glad I played here

An sich eine schöne Idee und tolle Landschaft. Unterhalt und Zustand der Körbe, Abwürfe und Bahnen lassen ein normales Spiel derzeit nicht zu.

This course is definitely an adventure! You can book a tee time online for this privately owned and maintained course. The tee boxes are not too tough to find but be prepared to encounter many plants, different elevations, cow pies, water and barbed wire as this is a real working permaculture farm. The primary use of this land is not disc golf so don’t expect a US National Championship level course as far as maintenance or distance although it is challenging. Good luck and enjoy the jungle!

Very nice and responsive staff!Seems to be the only course in this part of the country. With the overgrowth and lack of signage for tee boxes, we found the course to be nearly impossible to play. Even with a pretty accurate GPS course map, the course is in the wilderness. Perhaps we were here in the wrong season? Expect to get a few midrange throws in, but not to play a round of disc golf.

Super fun experience! Not sure if I played wrong or couldn't find gates/entrances but I did ALOT of crawling under or over barbed wire. Tee signs were very hard to find sometimes. Had to skip a few holes even after crawling under wire and not being able to locate 11,12. Distances are definitely wrong. All and all was a super unique experience and the homemade baskets caught my mediocre putts really well

Tee signs cud be set up and the tree on hole1s pad pulled back and it would be everything expected for this remote and beautiful terrain. Note they charge 25$ to play it pp when they are not hosting a special day, then rates lower but vary.

Amazing short course in fabulous tropical surroundings. That is unless your idea of a great course is perfect (or even adequate) tee boxes. The course map needs a bit of updating too (holes 11 & 16 were difficult to find - impossible for hole 11 for which I assumed a tee). Easily forgivable for the effort put into creating and maintaining a course here. Congrats to all who had anything to do with it Bring lots of water & long socks or light trousers. You never know what the rough here is hiding!

Great little course. Super happy I was able to find it. Not the easiest to find things in Costa Rica. Tip: Keep your eyes peeled for St. Michaels. I would also email Justin Dolan(owner) ahead of time as this is private property. It’s not the easiest to navigate and you will run across barb wire fences numerous times. Some of the holes are pretty short, but if you throw in the thick than good luck. Obviously could use some maintenance but it got my fix on vacation.
