This is a classic case of someone who doesn’t know anything about the sport putting a course in. I love to see more courses, but we need to think about course layout and upkeep. The first major issue is the wooden posts in the tee pads in the back right. For me, this made me tend to hyzer my tee shots more than I wanted since I was trying to still have a run up on most holes. They look like they were going to be tee signs but no one bothered to install the signs. Also, it appears the baskets have been hit a few times as most are slanting, which makes it harder to make a putt. They tried to make good use of the space in terms of length of holes, but the placement of holes is questionable. You’re almost always throwing over a path, field of another sport, or a parking lot. Overall, definitely not worth a drive out here specifically, but it worked to break up my drive since it was right off 69.
@kingsleya90
4x4 posts that literally go through tee pads...WHY?! No hole signage/map/wayfinding whatsoever. Most baskets are leaning at a 30 deg angle and very loose at the base. Poorly designed, impossible to play if anything else is going on there. Hole 7 is a joke. Always a trailer parked in the fairway of 9 (that has you throwing over a road). The worst 9 hole course within an hr of Lansing....do better PHS! This is a disgrace.
@akriek
Needs to be moved to the park in Shaftsburg. Unable to play monday through friday during school hours
@patoink
Poles inside tee pads, open and straight.
@xxzinguxx
Cool open beginner course. A mix of longer, medium, and shorter holes. However, not sure why there is wooden posts going through the tee pads😂
@zstory91
It gets a 2 star from me for 2 reasons. 1. The tee pads have wooden posts going through them; literally through them. 2. Most of the baskets are crooked. I like the longer holes though, and the grass is very nice.
@hyugetoss
Good for beginners. Few longer holes too.
@ziggy36
So fun for teaching my step daughter. Overall I am happy with the experience. Thanxxx to the community for putting this in
@s3vn77
It's a fun course for beginners, just don't lose your disc over the fence on hole 4/5/6 or you'll need a machete!
@brianphillips
Open course good for kids
@sebtacular
Fun beginner course. Lots of ACE runs. Open fields to work on cleaning up your drives. No hazards. Clean. Nice baskets. Concrete tees. -0.5 star for signage and short tees
@discfinder
Good open course for the teenage beginners. Built around school sports fields. Open field with a few challenging basket placements
