@dahlstar
Strange course design. A bunch of ~200’ par 3’s with absolutely no line to the basket. Par 4’s where all you do is throw a 200’ shot off the tee then chip up to the pin. Overall a very boring course for all the hype it received the past few years. Probably won’t be back.
@vinsanity88
Truly awful. The only reason this isn't zero stars is because the baskets and tee pads are very nice. Its everything in between that is uniquely terrible. Won't play here again until a significant re-design.

@bhoop3603
TERRIBLE DESIGN. Better off scrapping it and starting over.

@discchris
I guess It’s a good course to work on your flick.. I would not go back.

@wrwtennis11
I first thought the poor reviews were people hating on woods courses…unfortunately this is the worst designed course in the Charleston area. Maybe the worst design I’ve ever played. Non existent fairways and shot shapes that don’t exist. So much land to work with too… The beauty of the main park area, practice putting area, and a Culver’s milkshake after are the only highlights from this experience.

@raccoonlord
Lots of time and effort went into building this course, it shows. But the design... is questionable. The course will be better after a reworking of some holes.

@briandiscsling
Terrible course. Whoever designed this knows nothing about disc golf. Which is a shame it’s a great property with tons of potential if only someone with some sense would redesign it!!! Stay away if you’re a real player.

@chubbo
TLDR: bad course, play Wanamaker or JICP instead Not good. Despite what the hopeful people say, I have a hard time seeing any improvement to the course (without demolishing entire groups of trees). The lines don’t make sense, most are extremely guarded by small trees, vines, and other things that shouldn’t be a part of a fairway. For the longer holes, if you’re off the dead center of the fairway, you’re most likely taking a score over par. None of the holes are fun to play or make it redeemable to come back.
@batadopolis
Effectively Wanamaker pre redesign. Holes 3, 7, and 18 all need to be changed. Clean up a majority of the rest a little and I think it’ll be good
@msugarman
Course is fantastic. Definitely a challenge, and benefits players with a good two-way game, accuracy, and scrambling

@mudge1te
Played this course twice. Once on the opening and once today Nov 24 2025. It's a challenging course. There are small lines off the tee you have to hit or you're punished. If you're new to the sport you're going to have a tough time here. There are trees marked to be cut which will make the course more enjoyable. 2.5 stars is the current review until that happens. With that said, scoring on this course isn't impossible. There are multiple par 3s that are scrorable you just have to hit your lines perfectly which is what the game is about. This course reminds me of wannamaker before the fairways got cleaned up. If you're looking for a challenging course, this is probably the hardest one to beat in the area.

@ricolaaaaa
Needs a lot of work. Roots/acorns/sticks everywhere be careful walking. Fairways are relatively non existent, and tee signs are inaccurate.

@wrenkling
Very nice park. The course still has some work going on. Going to need a lot of practice to get a decent score here.

@discgolfcraig
Immaculately maintained wooded course in an excellent park, fairways are spotless, navigation is easy, and the entire property feels new and well cared for. • Strong mix of hole lengths, including several true par 4s and par 5s, paired with short birdie opportunities and demanding wooded par 3s. • Course leans heavily on tight, tree-lined fairways, rewarding clean execution but punishing misses with tough scrambles and bad kicks. • Several short holes (#5, #12, #13) and #8 stand out for forcing real decision-making and shaping shots rather than just distance. • Great infrastructure overall with quality tee pads and signage, and a park setting that works well for families. • Main drawbacks are repetition and lack of separation, narrow fairways blend together, limited elevation, and leaf buildup in the rough can make off-fairway shots frustrating. • Overall: a good, well-maintained wooded course that plays shorter than the listed distance, solid but not memorable. A nice addition to the area, especially for players who enjoy tight lines and controlled golf.

@rawbrain
Lot of people complaining on here but this course has potential and will break in to a better course Theres def a tree or three here and there that need to be taken out but it’s challenging and fair I feel like whoever design it is either lefty or likes high flex forehands Anyway with a little work it will be a nice course Shout out to the parks people who were super friendly

@johnlago
Played today with my 2 frequent partners. Scored -1, +2, +11(me). Course was very dry and paths were clear. Lots of reviews trash this course. Our consensus was that this is a very challenging course, tight lines, requiring good placement shots. We all liked it. Yes, there are lines that need to be cleaned up. There are some low ceiling shots that could be raised. The course honestly just needs break-in time. If you haven't played here, don't rule it out based on crappy reviews. Get out there and see for yourself. We plan to be back and I plan to play better.

@isaacbror
Similar to Wannamaker but different in a few ways: -Tighter gaps -Higher number of flukey shots -More par 4s & 5s -The par 4s & 5s are more demanding -The par 3s are shorter -Less elevation change and swampier Overall I'm glad to have another wooded course to practice gap hitting and scrambling, but if I had designed it, I would've tried to make it longer with wider, fairer fairways.

@ajettpruess
If you are a woods golfer, this is a new fav course for sure! Lots of cool holes and variety of hole difficulties. Also some nice views (but make sure to bring bug spray in the summer!!)
