@fuscow
Fun high desert course. Most holes are less than 300 feet but are fairly technical due to trees and terrain. Using the UDisc app was essential for finding tee boxes and baskets, as there was missing signage on five or six holes.
@rpe3223
A few tee signs missing but other than that it is a challenging and beautiful course. Lots of blind shots.
@zachtuthill
Terrible hole design detracts from excellent amenities and setting. Mostly chuck and pray sky shots with few real lines to follow and lots of stuff in the circle
@lynx74
A tale of 2 sides. Lost a disc on 2 and another on 6. I'm not a great player, but I'm not terrible either. After the front 9 I was bummin. Turned around the back 9. Played alone and it's not really difficult to navigate. Knowing the course would definitely help. Some signs are missing on the back 9, blind shots, and not understanding the A and B pin system is a little frustrating. But as everyone knows, even a bad round of disc is better than a great day at work. 😆
@ggimbel
As others have said there are A LOT of blind baskets at this course. If you're a local it's probably not a big deal but this was my first time here and it was annoying. The bigger problem is how so many of the holes have either no gap to throw through, or a comically small one. 90 percent of the time it's a better bet to throw over the trees and then you're basically throwing the same shot over and over again. Plus very easy to lose a disc since you can't see where you're throwing. If you want some technical playing this is nice, but otherwise not worth the effort.
@shoneys20
Once again this app helped me figure out courses like this. Lots of signs missing. baskets turn the opposite directions. So it's hard to figure out what basket you should be throwing to and where's the path to the next one. You're going for a hike with the option of throwing a disk.
@tagbadger2
A neat setting, as an out of stater, but dinged for inaccurate and missing signage (udisc layout needs updating too), and lacking variety. Definitely wear boots or hardy shoes to protect against thorns/stickers.
@outdoors87
The course is fantastic. They're short holes, but have brooms to sweep off concrete tee pads. Well mark with signs and scenic. Two small parking lots and portable restroom.
@nfisher
Too many blind holes. Too many tee pads close to baskets that are only reachable by hyzers. If it’s windy, forget it. It’s like the Buena Vista designer decided they needed to design another course. You need to walk each hole on the back 9.
@mitchellgill17
Updated opinion after 2 years: The “B” pins suck. 8 of 18 pins are blind. Its just a annoying layout. Im not playing here again. If you want to be frustrated at the end of round instead of happy, play here
@gtpolarbear
Hood variety of shot types and elevation changes. It's a pity thieves saw fit to walk off with Tee Signs.
@dbleblanc
Really fun course but there’s Some tee signs missing and it’s a little confusing getting hole to hole.
@sincerelyme
It's always played to my weaknesses, but that's why I love it!
@jbones747
Great course; cactus aplenty; lots of blind shots but tactical and fun.
@clintonnichols
Very fun, well maintained short course with some tricky shots. Well worth stopping for!
