"Compared to Ditto Farm, this is a more scenic course with less distance shots required, replaced by lots of technical shots. The fairways are open and well maintained. The rough is punishing, but not absurd. The land is multi-use, but the course plays well with other aspects, so minimal awareness is needed to share the area with hikers, bikers etc. The real downside here is interwoven trails that aren't always well marked. This is only a problem the first time you play the course."

"Great course with nice variety and some truly standout signature holes. Only downsides are the fairly boring uphill holes 2 and 3, and a few holes that are tricky to navigate between (use the map as you climb the hill)"

"Poor house farm has a nice coarse and is very beautiful I like being there because of all the wild life and trees and ponds that being said the trees make it very difficult to play and it being near the road it is dangerous if someone were to throw a disc and it to land on the road someone could be hit by a car but other then those two thing poor house is a good and beautiful course "

"Overall the course is pretty decent, some fun throws and the new back 9 is fun, be aware though, the rough can be extremely rough and thorny. The biggest reason I rated this course so low is due to the lack of signage. I played here a few years ago with some locals so I figured I could find my way through the course, boy was I wrong! Got lost multiple times in the older 18 and also the new 9. One of the paths also crosses straight through the pin of another hole which can be dangerous. "

"My biggest complaint is that I’m not good enough. I got lost a few times, and the rough is ROUGH. But the biggest challenge is that the course is simply that - challenging. Not for the faint of heart (literally, it’s quite a cardio workout) or those without a spotter. Miss your gap and you’ll be severely punished, but hit it, and the reward is the best feeling in disc golf. Absolutely beautiful sight when you hit the lines on this course."

"Field 9 - Pretty rugged and poorly maintained. The fairways in the woods aren’t so fair, and the overall design is too technical. The rough is so thick and full of poison ivy and thorny brush. And this is supposed to be the new, good course. There are so many better options to play nearby. "

"really nice course that is ENTIRELY in the woods. Rough is punishing so I would recommend wearing pants. There are several baskets out of the woods in addition to the regular 18 but there's very little indication of teepads. If some locals could make a map, it would be much appreciated! Still a very nice course. Definitely check it out if you're in the area"

"What they have done cutting fairways out of a mountain forest is amazing. It’s fun and fair but stay clean because the rough is incredibly punishing. Circle 1 areas should be cleared of thorns and brush better. But scenic and challenging and fun"

"Course is in amazing shape after the Panhandler 2023.. Its clear from shorts to longs. Longs is a different beast compared to shorts. Worth the trip if you've never played the course. Field 9 is a fun run as well. "

"Drove from MD, played the woods course/ short baskets (looks like there is an open field course too). Fun course with tight fairways and really clever hole designs. There are helpful signs near the pads and baskets, but going between some holes it is easy to get lost on the various trails as the signs stop (or you hit a T intersection with no direction on where the next pad is). My experience level is not up to par for the course, but I would gladly play it again!"

"Early spring, or late fall are the best times to play this course. Unless the volunteers maintain the fairways, anytime in between... you could find yourself in hip deep weeds in the fairway. "

"If your expecting to only play 9 holes it's not going to happen, because there is no escape route after hole 9. Navigating the course is not the best unless you like weeds and poison. The course is poorly maintained with 1-2 feet of weeds on holes 2-18. Be sure to take a weedwacker. "

"Plenty of elevation, hole 13 is a little hard to locate. After 12 take a left, if you hit a tree over the path you’ve gone too far. "
