Nice little course to practice approach/up shots and short ace runs. A few really fun holes but a couple short yawners.. I would feel compelled to not count a 1 on the ace register for these. Moderate pedestrian traffic but rarely impedes play.

Overall a nice little park. In a bit of a mess from the recent storms, but once cleaned up I’m sure is a nicer play.

Super fun 9 especially when you don’t have a lot of time you can get it done pretty quick! Loved the hills and short holes for a change!

When I was a newer player and finally learned how to throw far, I avoided this course out of pride. Now that I’m a more experienced player, I love coming here to work on my up shots/touch shots since most of the holes are short and don’t require a run up for me. Newer players: swallow your pride and start playing smaller courses like this and I promise your game will improve so much on the bigger courses and make you an overall better player.

Short holes, short course. But super fun for beginners or on a time crunch.

Ah, Porter Park…My favorite beginner friendly course in the area. Level concrete teepads, well maintained, varied shot selections, but it has some aging beat up baskets. Porter has some of the best elevation changes in the metroplex with only hole 1’s fairway being on flat land. Rarely ever crowded. A great place to go on a birdie bash with friends of all skill level.
