Disc golf course

Pratt Park DGC

Fredericksburg, VA

Front nine can be considered simple and repetitive but it's a warm up for the back nine in the woods. Four open and 12 wooded holes. First 10 are easy to follow. The final 8 holes can be confusing but worth it. The technical shots required can leave you with the possibility of a birdie or bogey equally. Ending with the last 3 holes along a sunken creek with 18s basket in a bowl. Par 56.

Poor layout, you’re constantly walking through fairways and baskets that others are throwing at. People walking all around the park and woods not paying attention. I definitely will not not be coming back.

Tree down blocking 13 tee pad and path to 15 from 14. Had to skip that hole. Otherwise really fun course

Some wholes are great, some need some work.

Classic old-style course originally designed for frisbees. Front 9 are challenging technical shots. Back 9 gets eclectic with a few distance shots and finishes winding next to a river/ stream. Next tee markers on baskets very helpful. Take pic of map at beginning kiosk in case get lost. Signage does not have visuals.

Layout definitely favors RH forehand off most tees. Front nine requires a ton of luck. Routes to basket are mostly non existent even if you hit early gaps. Back nine is a nicer mix and is quite scenic. Definitely not a course for those with roller bags or bad knees.
