General public can access the course by parking on the Puntzi Airport Rd, before the airtanker base fence line starts, and walking around the fence perimeter to the first tee.

There's one tonal missing, as it's on the rd, probably from back 9 as we played the front and have not seen one missing. Conditions are really good, accessibility is decent for most.
About the course
Course is located in the forest adjacent to the BC Wildfire Puntzi Airtanker Base. ENTRANCE TO THE BASE IS RESTRICTED TO BC WILDFIRE STAFF ONLY. PERMISSION IS NEEDED TO ENTER THE BASE AND CROSS THE RUNWAY!!!
If you are not authorized to enter the airtanker base, the course can still be accessed by parking on the Puntzi Airport Road before the airport fence starts, and walking around the fence perimeter (~10-15 min walk) to the course. Continue walking down the dirt path, past holes 4 to 2, until you reach hole 1 tee area.
The first tee is located across from the water sump at the end of the airstrip pavement (look for the small segment of old wooden fencing). Hole 18 is located above the PUNTZI 2985' spelled out on the hillside in white rocks (***PLEASE DO NOT STEP ON OR DISLODGE ANY OF THE WHITE PAINTED ROCKS).
The course features dirt tees marked by orange painted rocks and tonals made from orange & white painted propane tanks.

Super fun course and great use of space! Tees and targets are brightly painted so you can see them through the trees. Lots of fun tight lines that force you to be accurate and a few open holes that allow for some long drives. Use the UDisc map to help you navigate the holes. Definitely worth a drive to get this course off your wish list!! 🥏
