Very soggy after the rain, but course is in pretty good shape otherwise. Some holes are a little overgrown but still plenty navigable. Those will probably be good after a mow.

Course #90 for me. It’s a nice little course. They had some very unique lines through the woods, which was cool. Nothing super standout to make it any different than a typical woods course. It’s not bad, it’s not great. Cons: The walk between 5&6 is very non-intuitive. After 5, I didn’t look at the udisc map and went to what was logically the next tee, and ended up accidentally playing 8’s tee to 9’s basket before looking at the udisc map. A bit heavy on left-to-right (RHFH) lines for my taste. The course itself was going to get a 4.0, but the one thing that bumped it up to 4.5 was that it had something I’ve never seen before: a JUNIOR course designed into the regular course. Similar to different pin placements, but every hole had a SIGNIFICANTLY shorter yellow basket to play to so that small kids can play alongside their parents and have a realistic basket to shoot to. I saw a tiny kid playing with his dad. That was super unique and cool and bumped it up a half star for me.

This course could be a really fun shorty except for: the signage sucks, the layout is absolutely terrible, and I’m pretty sure i walked a greater distance between baskets and tees than i did playing the holes. Rip this thing out and start again.
@thurt518
With the resent redesign, this is a much more fun/challenging course. No more wooden tees. And now 2 baskets on every hole.
@nathanbr2
Fun 18 hole course with great Views. A little muddy and tough to navigate at times
@gouginator
Hole 6 was unfortunately unplayable for both rounds I played due to trucks parked on the fairway.
@jcpethel
Fun course with good shot variety. Needs a little maintenance but still a good play. Not a fan of the baskets for spit outs
@pointsi
More enjoyable course than it appears up front. Fun shot variety and plenty of guardian tree challenges, mixed with swampy messes to avoid. River is pretty wide around hole 10. Benches by most tees but no hole maps. Baskets have no cross chains so spitouts are a serious issue!
@troyritter
The course has nice, newer baskets and new concrete tees. Upkeep is badly needed. Tall grass and weeds on fairways. Thick brush just off fairways. Easy to lose discs.
@unikawn
This is obviously a work in progress, but already playable and fun. It’s a nice compliment to Parker’s Pasture. We met some of the guys working on it and they were very cool. You can tell they care. Coming from Athens, we ended up hitting Dirty Aces Disc Golf Shop then playing a round at Putterdale before playing Parker’s. Great way to spend a day!
@chase63rl
The new added baskets add more variety and even more beginner friendly, being able to play 2 layouts at once is also pretty fun
@astroboy
Super fun layout and beautiful to walk around in. Well maintained.
@mikehaney
If you have not played Porterdale since Summer 2023 you need to go back. Great work improving the course. A much more fun design. There are no more switchbacks and the wood platforms are gone. When the city installs concrete pads and signs and defines the fairways a bit more, the rating will be even higher. Hats off to those keeping up the course.
@rwsheets
Great new teepads have been poured. Has become a fun, challenging course.
@gregorygjm
Great short wooded course that you need a variety of shots to weave through the woods
@jdk213
Redesign is great! Makes it a perfect alternative to Parker's pasture by leaning into the putter. Fun shots and tee pads, with much less course confusion(only got confused on 15, thinking I was throwing to 16's basket. Previous layout was difficult to tell which basket was for which hole for the whole middle section). All in all, if the grass is kept consistently at a respectable level(as it is now), I'll be regularly showing up and playing putter only rounds.
@nobleman17
The new 18-hole layout breathes new life into what was a very difficult 9-holer. Now, with more variety of holes and even a par 4 bomber, the course is fun and fair, even if a few holes retain the old Putterdale trickiness. Nice companion course to Parker’s. Recommended.
