@frolfasaurus
Fun course with decent shot variety. Pedestrians make the course a bit of a slog at times. Got some challenging holes some must birdies. The back 6 for the alternator layout can be difficult to follow and has a few shots that feel a bit sketchy. Overall fun would recommend it if you’re in the area just be prepared for a slow round and lots of dogs.
@shaynepfeifer
Neat course. Even on a weekday morning there was enough foot traffic in the park to have to wait to throw on most holes. Short holes have some tricky branches to deal with, long holes are pretty open, good mix of both. Tee pads are numbered but no signs directing you to them, follow Udisc as you go. Very muddy.
@spindrift
Park golf, but pretty pretty pretty good 🤙
@misterbuz
This is a very well used park. Dog walkers, runners, walkers etc are always included in the hazards for this course. Patience is required and appreciated. Do not expect reciprocal consideration.
@cjdunks
Too many conflicts with other park users
@shawnmfries
Good layout in a beautiful park. The main drawback here is the traffic on the walking trail that the course follows. Best played on weekdays during business hours. The fact that the course isn't called some version of "Chain Killah" is a missed opportunity.
@discrabbit
Rating is for the standard course - if you're coming to play here choose a weekday and play one of the many safari designs!
@lauried
Very busy walking park, kudos to the designers for making full use of this park. Sooo many walkers make it a challenge and require a fair bit of waiting until it is safe to throw.
@mcfeever
Gorgeous city park with interesting holes / elevation changes / wooded lines. Big flaw is pedestrian traffic and total lack of signage to call attention to active golf course. You’ll be shaping shots to avoid dogs / kids / groups or spending long stretches waiting for a clear-out.
@robraincock
Great use of the land. Keep your shots low! Lots of dogs and families. Tee pads point to the basket... don’t get confused.
@basspipes
Lots of foot traffic, not too challenging. The default course layout zig zags and doesn’t make sense 😣
@mosolfdesign
Decent course, just busy with lots of general park users unless you go early
@gagedraxlir
Super fun layout with mix of trees and distance. The only thing is there are quite a few people.
@danley
It’s a very fun course, but one of the baskets is missing (4), and the park is full of people, even with social distancing these days. I can’t imagine how full it is normally. So, yes, a lot of fun, but a little crowded with nondiscgolfers.
@stozecroze
Highly recommend playing an alt layout as the default holes are mixed quality. Tons of crossover with other parks users - walkers, dogs, skateboarders, parked cars, soccer and baseball, etc. Almost every hole plays directly over a path. Rounds can take 3+ hours if the park is busy. Best to play on rainy days or for glow when the park is quiet.
