Course is good, interesting, and offers a variety of shots. Upkeep is lacking and signage from basket to next tee is non-existent.

Best quality course within a wide radius here. Surprisingly well maintained. Signage can be a bit confusing at time, especially for blue tees. Played this in late November after a bit of snow fell, so I'm sure a vastly different experience than in the warmer months. Still very playable in early winter conditions.

Looked like a good course but as of May 19, 2024 it was way too wet to play.

This course needs consistent teepads across the holes, obviously I’d prefer concrete on all 3 layouts; but most of the front 9 is just grass, back 9 has some wood frames with sand. The blue tees aren’t always marked. They should add trash cans to a few tee box areas. I love this course for the back 9 - it’s challenging, but rewarding. Love the birdie bell on hole 12, 13 has a fun fence/guardian tree blocking the basket. I was surprised to see white markers for OB on a free course, and hole 18 is one of my favorite holes in the state. I’ll keep coming back!

Fun course, variety of shots. Not much for tees, some built up dirt. Not cart friendly, some super bumpy fairways.

Rainy River has incredible potential. As someone from south central Wisconsin it was great to see the open shots combined with tight technical holes in the woods. However, the maintenance was below average and the tees were poor. Rainy River had lots of enjoyable holes with spectacular features, but some holes had bad designs. Overall it was fun and hopefully it can propel itself into a destination for frolfers all around.

Fun course. Three tees, we played white. We used carts but too bumpy to call it cart friendly, I will carry my bag next time. Too rough to mow, maybe a weedwhacker or brush hog or just needs to be played more to trample it down. Could use better tee boxes. Worth the stop if you are in the area

Great time at this course. Great use of the space they were provided and a good mix of different types of shots needed for a good round. Apparently it gets little use during the summer due to the bugs, which I did not notice early on until you break into the woods. The mosquitos can be treacherous especially if/when searching for a disc. Bring bug spray. Would give 4.5 if they had actual pads at every hole, but due to being on the campus I see why they could not at every hole.

Very good signage throughout the course. A good mix of open and wooded holes, although some of the wooded fairways have quite tall grass. Long pants recommended.

Seems like every time I try out a new course somewhere else I end up thinking “that was fine but not as good as I Falls”

I threw this course blind in a tournament and tbh is one of my favorites now. Mixture of open shots, technical tree holes, long bombs, water hazards, and even an elevated basket. Worth the drive!
