About the course

This is the 6th DiscGolfPark established in the state of California and the 28th DiscGolfPark installed in the United States. Established in January 2021. The Rancho Del Sol Golf Course previously known as the Moreno Valley Ranch Golf Course was designed by renowned architect Pete Dye in 1988. This 27-hole golf facility (Mountain, Valley and Lake) offered players a unique and masterful blend of three 9-hole combinations which has since been revamped from a challenging 27, to a more playable but still very exciting 18 hole course. The 3rd 9-Hole Lake Course which has since been left abandon is now being utilized as a fully dedicated Disc Golf Course providing a beautiful rolling landscape and manicured fairways. This pro caliber, championship level course is a true gem of the Inland Empire and was built into the mountain at the base of Mt. Russell. It overlooks the surround area, the desert and the San Bernadino mountain range in the distance. The natural and rugged setting provides a beautiful back drop for Disc Golf and epic views of the Moreno Valley below. The course has moderately hilly terrain as you experience an ascent on the first 6 holes before playing along the mountain side and then throwing back down the mountain on the breathtaking 1,000+ ft Par 5 Signature Hole #8. A great variety of shot shapes and distances that will require a multitude of different throws to navigate these rolling hills and side slopes. Many of the preexisting golf greens are now being used for many of Disc Golf greens with bunker hazards that come into play on several of the holes. The short (White) layout provides a pro level course with a great mix of par 3 & 4 holes for a par of 60 measuring 7,475 ft (2,279 meters). The long (Blue) layout is a championship level course that will challenge even the best of players with seven par 4s and two par 5s for an overall par 65 measuring 10,280 ft (3,134 meters). The highly visible yellow DiscGolfPark baskets can be seen from a majority of the teepads, even on some of the longer holes. Course Stats: Holes: 18-holes with 2 different layouts (White & Blue) Short (White) Layout: 7,475 ft (2,279 meters) Par 60 - Average Hole Distance: 415 ft (127 m). Restrooms just in the clubhouse. If you have to go, go before you start to play. Is $5 dollars to play. Free parking. They are remodeling the club house but someone will pick you up on a golf cart to take you thru the back to sign up. Make sure you call ahead so they will open the gates. (When you get there, you’ll see what I mean) All signage is correct and well kept.
