Moderately hilly
Moderately wooded
Water in play on 4 holes
Mostly open front 9, yet tight and technical with OB affecting every hole. Back 9 is mostly wooded, with several very tight fairways. Good elevation and variety.

"Probably one to avoid on the weekends. A lot of pavilions near tees and baskets, cars parked on or near holes. I had to skip #11 due to kids exploring the fairway. Some fun holes but overall I’m skipping this one next time I’m in Gastonia and going to Bradley Center."

"16 is kind of a mess but good course. Front nine make you feel good and then there’s the back nine. "

"Beautiful course, very technical, however anyone who has ptsd or previous war experience I HIGHLY do not recommend this course. Constant gun shots being fired every 4 seconds due to a gun range across the lake. Even without the ptsd or war experience the tranquility of being in nature is eliminated. I will not be back due to the constant noise of fire power.

"4-5 unplayable because of water. Course needs maintenance but overall fun course"
