Honestly, I do not believe this course was designed by anyone who actually has a love for the sport. Instead I believe they have a great hatred of it and those who play it and I will tell you why. Every single hole after Hole 3 is a hazard. You will constantly be throwing with the reservoir or sheer cliffs to your left up until Hole 20 where you will get a 1 hole reprieve before it begins again. Whomever designed the course wants you to lose discs, or wants you to injure yourself retrieving them as every area has dense foliage that consists of primarily thorns. Getting down the cliffs is easy enough. You just tumble and roll. Getting back up is much harder. There should not be so many hazards with such small fairways on a course. Maybe they want you to lose your disc so they can re-sell them if they find them. Maybe they just hate you for loving disc golf. Whose to say? Shot variation is an after thought. Whomever made this either throws forehand if they throw at all, or believes that Forehand is the only way to throw a disc. Every hole except for about two play to forehand throwers, or are at worst, indifferent to them. But guess where all the hazards will be? That's right to your left. So if you are a backhand player, don't bring anything you would miss of you lost it. Cause you will lose it or more. Or maybe just get injured repelling down the steep drops. Which is fine if you are able to take work off due to injury sustained on the course. Not only that but every teepad is non-regulation. They are these weird trapezoidal ones that get narrower the further you walk down it making walk ups inconsistent. You will either have a tee pad that is stand still only, or ones that are long enough to land a Boeing on it. Half of them are raised meaning you have to start on it, so again walk ups are hard, and if you step over the ledge you'll roll your ankle or fall. There are very few benches and zero restrooms. Very few trash cans as well. Get comfortable with the idea that you will be hiking. No signage. Without U-Disc you will not find the next hole as most of them are these weird, hidden passages where the foliage obscures them. Now it isn't 100% terrible. It has a great driving range with a shelter and benches, and honestly it is the best part of the course besides leaving the course. If you want a place to practice this is a great location to do so. And the course is beautiful as you will be next to the water or on pretty trails. But that doesn't mean you should have to throw with or towards it for EVERY hole. There are plenty of spaces where they could have utilized more open areas, or changed the direction you throw so you are not always throwing into hazards or trecherous terrain. Instead, its always towards or with the hazards. If you are a new player stay off the course. It is unforgiving. You won't gain love for the sport here. You'll be better off going to Sawyer-Ludwig, Aumiller, Gordon-Holton, or the Woodsman. You will love the sport at any of these locations. But every time I leave this course it is covered in cuts, scrapes, blood, mud, and with great exhaustion. I feel my love of the sport die a little with each visit, to the point I would rather throw myself off any of the cliffs, than to throw another piece of plastic here again. I truly hope to never visit another course designed by whatever sadist designed this one.

Covered in snow when we played but thoroughly enjoyed the round. Love tracks with more than 18 holes - bonus golf!
