"As others have mentioned, the mowing frequency on this course holds it back from being a 5 star course. There seems to be a walking path that is mowed weekly, but the fairways are very thick. "

"Championship level course from tee to green on all 18 holes. Only reason it's not 5 stars is the 550+ par 3 where they expect you to throw a roller...........at least mow the grass if you're gonna have a hole of that caliber. "

"A very long course with a combination of technical wooded shots and open holes. If you’re looking to throw bombs, this is the course for you. If you’re looking to get a quick round in, this probably isn’t the course for you. It is however an enjoyable course. When it rains the course can become very slippery and muddy so stay away from the course for a few days after a harsh rain. A more intermediate-advanced course, but fun for players of all levels."

"Really fun course! I wouldn't necessarily say it would be great for a beginner. You need to be able to drive 350+ to be getting chances at par on most holes. The design was really nice and it flowed great"

"Great course. Good mix of shots required. Looong. Wind is definitely a factor. Usually I don’t worry about wet/mud comments (no shit, when it rains it’s wet) but this course seems to hold water. It hasn’t rained here in 5 days and it was swampy on at least half the holes. Wear waterproof shoes for sure."

"On days the grass is mowed it’s 4 for sure. Tall grass days (and I mean waist high fairways some days) it’s unplayable. Both wooded and open. Tuff holes. A few holes get really swampy if it has rained in the last couple days."

"A really enjoyable, long course that offers a variety of open fairway and wooded shots. Grass is infrequently maintained, as many have mentioned. A couple of tips for improvement: Hole 2 should be a par 4 given the infrequency of mowing, and the basket location on hole 14 and 16 need to be placed in better locations. I really enjoy this course!"

"Very difficult but will designed. I can typically throw about 380-390' but with the majority of the par 3's at of 400'+, I found it a challenge to just make par. All in all though, this was a great course. "

"Love what theyve done so far, I loved the old Riney but its much better now. Brush is cleared out so you wont lose discs lol still being worked on but definitely playable with UDisc app. If you like open courses like Jacobson, you will really enjoy this course. It has lots of long open holes and some really nice short technical ones. Cant wait for the "official" finished product"

"This place has potential to be an amazing championship caliber course. Super fun holes that are mostly geared towards big bombers off the tee, with a half dozen or so technical holes thrown in the mix. The land is beautiful and the landscaping was great when I played. As a first timer, however, it’s an extremely frustrating course. There are tee pads completely missing, holes with no signage, and holes that are numbered incorrectly. If they could sort out the tee/signage situation, it’s a 5/5"

"Improvements aren’t done yet, still a ways to go. Without UDisc it’s easy to go the wrong way. There are multiple par 4s that should be 3s and a par 3 that should be a 4. Worse than most courses in the area"

"New baskets are in. The new course design is nice and varied. Some tee pads aren't in yet but white markers are the surragate. Fairways are clear and mowed. Great addition to the other lexington area courses."
