Well Done!!! Nice variety of shots, good range of distances, great use of the landscape and elevations, great choice of pin locations to be challenging but attainable, rough finish to tee pads preventing slick tee shots was great, solid choice of baskets, brooms for pads, bench's throughout! Very impressed with the effort that has gone into this course! If the goal was to make a championship quality course that will change disc golf in Saskatchewan I strongly believe you have done that!!! This was the most enjoyable course for me personally in Saskatchewan!
@denleyr
This course is just a few months old, and it has the potential to be the best course in the province, if it hasn't achieved it already. So much shot variety, and beautiful scenery. I can definitely see it being a tournament stop in the near future. It's a bit challenging for me, at my novice to intermediate skill level, but it is still so worth the drive. I'll definitely be back.
@donroritor
This is a phenomenal course in an amazingly picturesque portion of river valley. Challenging lines, elevation changes, ripping winds, and a pump jack will challenge even the most experienced disc golfer. Bring your A game, you will need it. If you're reading this and you're on the fence for any reason, maybe it looks a little too far off the Yellowhead, I beg you, play this course. Power through, divert, enjoy the fields of canola as you detour to one of the best courses in western Canada. Start your uDisc card while you're still up on the highway, you won't have service down at hole one. I got service back sometime on hole 8. Thank you to the Hosts on the property, they were gracious and welcoming. I can't wait to come back.
@darryllowery
This is a great course. You have to hit the lines or be punished by the heavy woods. I absolutely loved this course. I will be back!
@jchristian
Beautiful course. Going to get even better. Wear sweats. Not a lot of mosquitoes but there were some ticks and a lot of bush. Discs can get lost easily so have spotters.
@mitchperry
A Saskatchewan gem! Beautiful scenery nestled near the river. A great experience with a challenging mix of forest, hills, and open views. A fantastic addition to the area that’s definitely worth the visit.
@brandonredekop
Numerous cool lines in the woods and scenic views overlooking the North Sask River. Nice new tee-pads will attract enough play to beat in the course as most of the rough has yet to be explored and is very dense. I would recommend pants until the thistles get sprayed.
@bangerandmash
As a player that doesn’t have a long bomb of a drive, I enjoy the more technical aspect of this course. It’s not a crush and putt like a lot of prairie courses. The trees make you stop and plan out your shot while shaping the flow of the course nicely.
@greenfury
New course, so fairways are not grown in yet on the first few holes. Steep climb between holes 10 and 11 that could use steps of some sort. This is a hike with lots of elevation change so be prepared for that. Lots of potential for lost discs. We lost one and had to look hard for a few others. On the bright side, we also found 2 which we left with the course owners. Definitely not beginner friendly but worth the time and energy to play.
@ironwolf
This is a great course. Top 5 in Saskatchewan. At an intermediate level the pars are fair and there are many chances to land a birdie if you hit the lines right. Pros will love this course too. Great technical lines, use of elevation and nothing requiring a bomb arm. The one thing I really love about this course is the variety of putting shots. Every hole has a different element to putt from. This course will grow a person’s putting abilities if they keep coming out and playing. The ONLY critique I have is the course needs some garbage cans. 18 holes and I couldn’t find one. Otherwise they have tee pads, tee signs and great navigational signs throughout the course. I would travel to this course again so if in the area definitely stop in and play it.
@happysailor
Very difficult, some very narrow opportunities for weaker players.
@lintonben
Course has everything you could want. Tunnel shots, long drives and short technical shots. Once tee pads are installed it will be the best in Sask!
@saturdaydyes
This course is already so much fun! Once the tee pads get put in it’ll be fantastic. Definitely worth the trip!
@wilgrainger
Unbelievable scenery with a wide variety of different hole lengths and shot shapes. Great technical course that rewards accuracy. Tons of work has gone into the course and it shows!
