Count the number of people in your group after each hole to make sure the mosquitoes did not carry anybody away!!!
@drewfo
Front 9 is fine. Back 9 is beautiful. I would play the back 9 twice.
@tdanis84
Overall, this is a difficult and scenic course. It is more challenging than Renegades and I think I liked it better. I’d come back to play it again.
@kjholt
In a vacuum it's better than expected but unfortunately you're trapped in that vacuum with 100,000 mosquitoes. Basically every course in Michigan this summer has idiots rating it lower because of mosquitoes when it's just the reality of being outside. But this course is different. You're basically playing in THEIR house on the back 9 and they ignore bug spray completely. Play Renegades instead.
@oneeyedjamie
A great wooded compliment to Renegade’s Trail. Requires a plan and a lot of placement vs power. Wish the tee signs were better/matched the other course.
@aurkarm
Park course with a mix of woods and open holes. If you play Renegades then this, this will very much feel like the older course. Signage is OK, as are the slightly too narrow tees. Layout plays a bit close to other park users and parking (had a disc land right behind me as I was loading my car from another player's errant shot), and the very long walk to hole 9 crosses 6's fairway. Some shot variety. I've never commented on mosquitos on a review before, but in this case it warrants mention. I've played a lot of disc golf, and I've hiked and biked all over the U.S. Never have I abandoned a round due to mosquitos until this round. Never in all of my outdoor adventures have I encountered mosquitos like this before. This course plays though a marshy woods, and it's been a very wet summer in Michigan, so I hope this was an anomaly. These were far beyond being just a nuisance, and half a can of Deep Woods Off between my husband and I did nothing. Overall, struck me as a course that would be a decent time if a) Renegades wasn't just the other side of the parking lot to compare it to and b) it was late fall or early spring.
@audreyrose
Absolutely beautiful course. More wooded of the two. The back nine is especially fun and challenging. Definitely go!

@tmedler
Almost as good as renegade but need to be able to hit a 7x7 gap and just about every hole or have a hell of a scramble game
@philipbalger
7 par 4’s hard stuff too. It’s mud season at Burchfields championship wooded layout. Be aware of some off fairway flooding and muddy areas around the tee’s w additional mud randomly on some of the back 10.
