Great addition to charlotte disc golf. Technical and wooded. Lots of elevation and shot shaping. Thank you Huey and all involved in bringing RL smith back!

@cmonteith
Good intermediate track that uses a nice bit of elevation that you don’t see on most other courses.

I'm glad to see RL Smith back and sincerely appreciate the work put in to do so. My first time through was easy with good signage/paths. It's a work in progress as the fairways have plenty of cut down brush to walk over, but over time that'll get better. I definitely miss the old layout as this one is pretty much putters & mids with a few fairways tossed in. I don't care for hole 1 & 8 but I couldn't do better with the space provided. Iconic holes 14 & 19 are much to look forward to. Lots of elevation and noise from the nearby airport will most likely keep traffic on this course to a minimum like in the past.

@jaxrhyno
The course is definitely newly cut in but man it was fun! For this being a new course it was in great shape!!! Definitely a Charlotte style course!!!

@xtacothunderx
Very happy to see this course back in action. Sadly, not to the decision of the course designer, a lot of the old iconic holes had to be removed due to the greenway expansion. Because of this, there are a lot of short holes to fill in the gaps from the longer ones. And they feel like that. Filler holes. Starting on hole 1 and 2 set my expectations high for what the new layout had in store. It’s still a fun time, still a good hike too. Just missing the teeth RL was known for. Definitely give it a shot! It’s well worth playing. I just don’t think I’ll play it nearly as frequently as the old layout.

Stunning this time of year 🧡🤎❤️💛 a great hike. Great shot variety.

@discgolfcraig
Fun course. Love the amount of holes kept from the original layout.

@davidagnes
Very underrated course with significant elevation change and many different shot types.

@joshtoonice
Signs could be better, but tremendous course all around. Great shot variety

@tysonjames5
#1 Course in Charlotte area, in my opinion. Shot variety, distance is fair and hills not as bad as expected. Members done an exceptional job on Course maintenance.

@jdpiteo
This may be my new favorite course in Charlotte. I love the shot variety, distances, and doable elevation. Thank you to all those who put in the hard work to make it happen.

@qccameron
Excellent addition to the Charlotte DiscGolf catalog and something different with the topography than any other course in the area. Lots of fun elevation changes through the woods. Cool rock formations and mature trees. Bring your hiking shoes and your floppy putter.

@smithja7
Another Charlotte gem that will only get better after more clearing of brush and players to trample the small stuff. Very fun

@mefelson
Really fun short course. A lot of hiking. 2.8 miles and 28 floors, so be ready to sweat. There’s a decent amount of blind shots where you can’t see the basket. Fun ace run holes. The fairways are already clean considering it was just complete. Follow Udisc for mapping and distances. Only 1 or 2 weird transitions, but again follow Udisc. Overall awesome new course 🤘🏻

@vinthai21
Gem! Great! Immediately one of the top courses in Charlotte. Go play it
